Elizabeth Grace's POV

"What the heck happened here?"

I believe we're all thinking that exact question. It looks like a cyclone went through here. The lab is an absolute disaster. Papers are thrown about. Tables are flipped upside down. Shattered glass lays all over the floor.

We walk through the lab until we reach a box labeled with an X. Opening it, several suits lay inside. It would appear they are for us.

"Hank has been busy," Erik comments.

"Do we really have to wear these?" Alex asks.

"As none of us are mutated to endure extreme g-force or being riddled by bullets," dad starts. "I suggest we suit up."

It's clear that each suit was meant for a specific person—not just in size—but in design as well. Havok's has the same disc used in training to focus his power. Banshee's contains the fabric used as a glider. Mine... well, my extra thing doesn't have to do with my powers necessarily. It's clear it was put there to make me smile—which it does. On it, an owl—the symbol of Athena—is stitched in navy blue on the right shoulder against the yellow fabric. Its eyes are stitched in white thread.

Within the hour, we are at the airbase. Hank's plane that he spoke so highly of is here. It is quite spectacular. Of course, this only leaves one question...

"Where's Hank?" Raven asks.

"I'm here..."

A figure can be seen walking towards us. Something seems different. I can only see a vague outline... but something... something's not right.

"Hank?"

WOAH! He was NOT blue or furry yesterday.

All of us look at Hank in shock as he walks towards us. He almost resembles an animal. He's much larger than he was the last time I saw him. Of course, his skin is also blue, and he has fur. His hands are like paws, and his teeth are like fangs. This explains why we're all staring at him completely dumbfounded.

"It didn't attack the cells," he says, obviously referring to the serum he created. "It enhanced them. It didn't work."

"Yes it did, Hank," Raven tells him. "Don't you see? This is who you were meant to be. This is you. No more hiding."

She shoots a smile at me. I reciprocate it. Maybe, just maybe, our differences—my eyes, her blue skin—aren't so bad. Who knows... Erik may just turn out to be right.
