There face was unreadable.
"So you're Alexis?" Lizzie asked
"Technically yes but I changed my name to Anastasia. I still go by that" I replied
"Are you still Anastasia?" Zach asked
"Yes of course. Nothing changed besides my backstory and how I got here. I'm still me, my personality is the same, my lifestyle is the same, everything is the same" I replied
"Ok, I mean if you're still the same we still love you" Lizzie said
They took the news well
"Thank you guys, and I'm sorry that I didn't tell you the truth sooner, I just don't want my brothers to know who I am" I replied
"What did they do?" Zach asked
"A lot of bad things, the one thing that really got me was my brother Aidan took my mother's ring and proposed to his abusive girlfriend. His girlfriend was another reason why I left" I replied
"What did she do?" Lizzie asked
"Tried to parents be, physically abused me and mentally. Aidan took her side the whole time." I said
"We can beat the crap out of her if you want" Zach said
"Please do" I replied with a small laugh
"Why did you keep it a secret for so long?" Lizzie asked
"I wasn't ready to tell people, but now I'm starting to" I replied
"Does Stefan know?" Zach asked
"Yeah, he was the first person to know" I said
"How did he take it?" He asked
"Ehh, worse then you guys but I get why" I said
"At least nothing happened between you two though, you guys are still together" he replied
Only if he knew he pressed a knife to my throat when he questioned who I was.
"Yeah, nothing stopped us" I said
Zach and Lizzie asked a couple more questions about my previous life. I answered them trying not to say anything about what specifically my brothers did and what Stefan does.
They left after a couple hours. They took the news fine and I wouldn't know what to do if they got mad.
"Stefan" I said going into his office
"Yeah, what's up?" He asked
"Let's go out for dinner" I said
"Where?" He asked
"I want sushi" I replied
"Ok, get ready. I'll make an appointment for 7:30" he said
"Ok" I said
I needed to take a shower but I need Stefan's help.
"Stefan" I said
"Yes darling" he replied
"Can you help me shower?" I asked
"Yes, give me a couple minute" he said
"Thank you" I replied
I went back in the shower and turned on the water. I took off all my clothes and took off the bandage. It's healing really well.
Stefan came into the bathroom and helped me. After the shower I put on some clothes and dried my hair. I did my makeup and put on my shoes while Stefan got ready.
