Chapter 40-Come on stassie

Whenever Chris came in I knew it was another hour that Stefan wasn't here, another hour to my death.

Chris has been here 4 times so far, and every single time he has cut me in a new spot, at this point I was ready to give up, but I couldn't.

After another hour passed, Chris came in but he didn't just cut me he punched and kicked me. I was loosing a lot of blood, everything slowly became heavier. I only thought of seeing my parents again and knowing I'm gonna die here.

I heard footsteps again but it hasn't been an hour yet, I'm going to die right now aren't I. I was preparing myself, I never got to say goodbye to lizzie or Liam or rocky. Who's going to take care of rocky, he was going to be all alone.

"Seems like your boyfriend isn't coming" a guy said

It sounded like Andrew

I watched him grab stuff, I couldn't tell but it looked scary through the shadow

I tried trying moving or something

"I'm not gonna cut you, I'm just cleaning your wound" he said

Why was he helping me, out of everyone. Why all of sudden changed of heart

He took the gag off my mouth

"Why are you helping me?" I whispered

"Because you shouldn't be dragged into this. You also remind me of someone I know, she was dragged into this life and now she's gone" he said

He was talking about me, when I left it hurt him.

"Who is she?" I asked

"My sister" he replied

"What happened to her?" I asked

"She ran away, she didn't like it here. We've been looking for her but haven't, I know she doesn't want to be found. I just want to make sure she's okay" he said

He doesn't know I'm right here. I wanted to tell him, I wanted to say something but I couldn't. He knew I didn't want to be found, he knew I hated it but none of the others cared. I wanted to tell him but I couldn't trust him. I'll never be able to trust any of them.

"Maybe she missed you too?" I questioned

"Probably not, she hates all of us" he said

"Understandable" I replied

He cleaned off all the dried blood, and put the gag back on and left.

I was left in the dark again

Stefan's p.o.v.

We were on the plan to California, I already had men out there, they just needed my word and they would attack.

We finally reached and we headed to the base

"Ok, listen up. What it seems like there are men at the gate, then the doors. It's not a lot but they are some. I will give you the word and you will go" I said

My men all agreed, and we were all on our way to get her back.

We reached the house and we were right, not too many guards.
