Chapter 80-Day 2

I woke up the next morning, more like afternoon. Jet lag hit me like a train. I looked around and Stefan wasn't in the room. I grabbed my phone and went in the bathroom. I used the restroom and washed my hands. I grabbed my toothbrush and brushed my teeth then brushed my hair. I left the bathroom and went downstairs. I got lost for a minute but found the kitchen.

"Good morning Anastasia" Mrs. Aveline said

"Good morning Mrs. Aveline" I replied

"Honey call me Rebecca" she replied

"Ok" I said

"The chef made French toast, if you don't like that we can make something instead" she said

"Oh no it's fine, I love French toast" I replied

"Ok, there should be fruits, whip cream, and syrup" she said

"Thank you" I replied

I sat down on the chair and made myself a plate. I started eating it when Julia came in

"Good morning" I said

"Morning" she said

"Jet lag?" I questioned

"Yes" she replied

"Same" I said

She grabbed a plate and grabbed French toast

"Any plans today?" She asked

"I don't know, I was gonna go in town and buy last minute gifts." I said

"I can take you" she said

"Ok" I replied

I finished breakfast

"Give me an hour" she said

"Ok" I replied

I went upstairs and I realized I needed to take rocky on a walk.

I put him on the leash and went downstairs. I remember in the backyard there a patch of grass. I go in the backyard and start walking rocky.

"Who's this little dog" I heard behind me

It was Louis

"This is rocky" I replied

"Hello rocky" he said petting him

"Do you mind if I tag along?" Louis asked

"No not at all" I replied

"So you and Stefan" he said

"What about?" I asked

"You're fine with him and the mafia" he said

"Yeah, it was weird and scary at first but I got used to it" I replied

They didn't know I've been used to it since 17 when i found out about my brothers.

"Oh, I wouldn't expect it" he said

"Why is that?" I asked

"Well Amelia and I married someone that was already in the mafia so they grew up with it. I thought he would have found someone in it, but I was wrong" he said

"Was Stefan going to have an arranged marriage?" I asked

"No, no. None of my siblings got one or will ever. My mom pushed that before she got pregnant with me. But my dad kept introducing girls so maybe someone sparks interest" he said

"Well he didn't, he got me instead" I replied

"Well I don't care who he picks, honestly if he's happy we're all happy and we can tell that you make him happy" he replied
