Chapter 83-New years eve part 1

(I skipped 3 days because it was going to be boring chapters so there was no point in writing boring chapters)

It was day of the New Year's Eve party, Julia helped me buy a dress since it was more fancy and I didn't bring those types of dress. The party started at 9pm and Stefan told me these party go till 3-4am. I was going to slip away before 3am because I was going to be exhausted by 1am.

It was 4pm and I haven't gotten ready yet, I've been in the room being lazy. More like me being anxious because I didn't know how this party would go especially since it wasn't only going to be family. It was also people from the mafia and his family friend.  I trusted Stefan but I didn't know anyone and people didn't know me or they did.

"Are you excited" I heard the voice. I looked up and it was Julia at the door

"More like anxious" I replied

"Why" she asked

"There's people I don't know and I don't know if word will spread saying I'm with you guys. You know how bad I get if my brother somehow find out. It's hard because I trust Stefan and he wouldn't put me in danger but we haven't told anyone besides a couple people. He didn't really tell me if he told anyone" I said

"Hey, you know he will never put you in danger. Maybe this is to introduce you to the people he trust. You know if you don't feel comfortable, you can tell him he understands you" she replied

"I know, maybe I'm just going crazy" I said

"No, I get where you're coming from. You don't want your brothers to find you, they hurt you. Don't worry we are all here" she said

"Thank you Julia" I replied

"Of course, you're family. I got to go get ready, I'll see you later" she said

"Bye" I replied

I was considered her family.

I have a family.

I still had some time before I needed to get ready so I watched some tv to keep my focus off that. After 2 hours I decided to start getting ready. I went in the shower and didn't need to wash my hair since I already washed it yesterday. After my shower I dried off and put normal clothes on. I started doing my makeup, then hair. I straightened my hair and put in my green contacts. I put on the dress and looked at the time it was 8:40. Stefan hasn't been in the room yet so I'm guessing he's getting ready in another room.

I looked at the overall outcome and everything was perfect.

I heard the door open and close, I looked over and it was Stefan, who was nowhere near ready.

"You know the party starts in 20 minutes" I said

"Yeah, I'll be ready by then" he said

I rolled my eyes and he went in the bathroom and took a quick shower. He came out within 5 minutes and dried off and put on his suit

"Did you even put soap on" I asked

"Yes" he replied

It was now 8:55

"How do I look?" I asked

"Gorgeous and very sexy" he said

"This took a lot of work" I replied

"What about me?" He asked

"You look very handsome and hot. You should wear a suit more often" I said

I sat on the bench and put on my heels

While waiting for Stefan I kept bouncing my leg from being nervous

"Hey, don't worry I'll be by your side the whole night. If not Julia will or one of my siblings or even Matthew" he said

"I don't think Matthew likes me" I said

Matthew was his right hand man

"You guys barely know each other, maybe today you will get to know each other" he said

"Maybe" I replied

I kept bouncing my leg and I was nervous. I didn't know what would happen, would my brothers find out that I'm here with him?

"Hey, don't worry I trust everyone here and they wouldn't go running saying you're here. They would be dumb if they did" he said

"Ok" I replied

"You ready to go down" he asked

"No, but let's do this" I replied

we left the room and headed downstairs. Instead of heading to the living room, we turned to the right and we were in front of the two big doors. We opened it and it was a ball room. There was an open floor and off the side were a couple tables and there was a bar. Olivia and Jason were running around. Rebecca was making sure everything was in order and so was John.

"There you guys are" Rebecca said

"Sorry, he decided to take hours getting ready" I said

"Of course he did" Rebecca said

"Hey, it took me 15 minutes" Stefan said

"Yeah but you got ready 20minutes before the party" I said

"Ok, the guest should start arriving soon" she said

"Mom, stop stressing the party is always great" Stefan said

"I'm not worried" she said

She was nervous.

We headed to the bar and we got ourselves a drink. Soon guest started arriving and I was introduced to people. A lot of them were people in the business who they really trust and their extended family friends.

"Anastasia, this is William. He is a very good friend of mine. His dad worked with mine and we grew up with each other" he said

"Hi, it's nice to meet you" I said

"You too" he replied

We talked for a bit.

"Stefan, im going to grab another drink." I said

"Ok" he replied

I went over to the bar and ordered another drink

"Hey" i heard from the side, I looked over and it was Julia

"Hey" I replied

"How do you like the party?" She asked

"It's good, meeting a lot of people. What about you" I said

"Ehh, my dad keeps introducing me to people who could I could date" she said

"How bad is it?" I asked

"Horrible, none of them are cute. You can tell they have bad personality, and they are very cocky. Oh and the age, they are at least 28" she said

"Oh god, that sounds horrible" I replied

"It is" she said

The bartender handed me my drink

"Wait what about the guy behind you, 10 o clock curly brown hair" she said

I turned around to see who she was talking about. I looked around found who she was talking about.

My eyes widen in horror
