Chapter 82-day 5 and 6

It was the day after Christmas, I had nothing for today but tomorrow I was going to be out the whole day. I would have to leave around 11am and not be back till 6pm but I didn't mind, I was more excited.

I went downstairs to eat lunch. Stefan and I were going to hang out in the library since that was his other favorite room in this house. I went back upstairs and Stefan and I went to the library.

"This is where I would hang out if I wasn't playing soccer. It was always quiet and I love reading" he said

"You barely read at home though?" I questioned

"I'm very busy, I don't have much time anymore but whenever you're not home and I have a break for a bit I read" he said

Stefan works from home but goes to meetings at his work place when needed.

"Oh, I hated reading when I was younger. It was always boring to me" I replied

"That's because you never found the right book" he said

"Is that so?" I questioned

"Yes, give a genre that interest you" he said

"A romance novel" I said

"Classic I see" he said

He searched through the enormous library and picked out three

"How did you know where they were?" I asked

"I practically lived in this room" he said

"Here you have pride and prejudice, the notebook, and outlander" he said

"I'll read the notebook" I said

"Good choice" he said

"What if I get bored of reading" I said

"You got to give it a chance" he said

"Fine, you're lucky I love you" I replied

"Well I'm a lucky man" he said

He grabbed a book and we started reading. The book was actually interesting.

"Ok, I see now why you love books" I said

"See you got to find the right book" he replied

Him and I continued reading and we talked about it.

"How is the business going?" I asked

"Pretty good, right now we don't get much because it's the holiday and no one wants to work when they have family waiting, but I know right after I'm gonna be swamped again. What about you?" He said

"It's slow right now but I have to come back here in the spring for the 2021 collection. So I'll be busy again" I replied

"So we will both be busy, when are we going to spend time?" He said

"Now, before I go, and why not I go to work with you when I have time off" I said

"I don't know about that" he said questioning the last statement

"Come on, I've always wanted to see you in action" I replied

"But what about keeping you hidden?" He replied

"If anyone ask, it's a publicity stunt and we needed to settle some stuff, but no one is going to. They fear you, they wouldn't cross you" I replied

"Ok, but you gotta stay in the office. I can't have you getting lost or people finding out. I'll announce it soon but not yet" he said

"Ok" I replied
