As Jacob was going along a long, straight stretch of road he took one of his hands off the handle bar and placed it lightly on my arm, caressing over the dark cracks, Is warm skin made me pull my arm back fast, the warmth against the forming Ice on my wrist shocked my body. Once his hand was back on the handlebar i put my arm back around his middle, my body sank into his back for the rest of the ride.
We pulled up to a little red barn house, with an actual barn next to it. I figured at how far away from the school it was, that we were on the reservation, and this was his house. he shut off the bike.
"I thought you didn't want our kind on your land?" I asked as i got off the bike and took the helmet off
"you know i didn't mean any of it towards you, He was on a hunt and you guys cant hunt or be on our land, without permission"
I rolled my eyes as i passed him the helmet then he started pushing the bike towards the barn
"If you were wondering, my dad isn't home, so theres no need to go into the house to see him" he said as we got inside
"i wasn't wondering" i shrugged
he chuckled slightly propping himself up on his bike "come here" he waved me towards him
"why?" i huffed, wanting to stay stood by the door
"Just come here" he demanded
"Alright" I walked stroppily towards his bike and crossed my hands over my chest as i did, He chuckled as he sat on the seat on the bike but facing outwards towards me, when I got close Jacob grabbed my arm again and ran his hands across the cracks... again.
"Jake" I took my hand away, as he went to talk the barn door opened again
"Hey-- oh hello" a 15 year old boy was stood at the door, a smirk formed on his face "I'm Seth, Seth Clearwater."
"Very charming, now go" Jacob got up and shoved his way past me, towards the boy
"My mom sent me here, she said that you have to look after me today" Seth chimed
"ugh" Jacob groaned
"Dont be so rude Jacob, god," I walked forwards from where I was and approached the two "I'm Ivy"
"It's nice to meet you" He smiled going to grab my hand but Jacob pushed him away
"Jake, stop" I held my hand out and seth too it, shaking it quickly before letting go, It seemed as if Jacobs blood was boiling as he watched Seth and I converse.
"that's enough, Seth go to the house"
Seth nodded and waddled slowly towards the house, I followed him, walking by his side.
"I think Jacob wants you to stay with him..." Seth whispered, I looked behind me at the very angry Jacob
"Nah, its fine, your WAY MORE INTERESTING THAN JACOB anyway" I started whispering but got louder to see if Jake would hear. He started stomping his way to us, but I hurried forward, pulling seth with me into the house.
"Ivy, can I talk to you?" Jacob asked once all three of us were inside, though his jaw was clenched
"sure" I sighed, leaving Seth in the living room, Jacob grabbed my hand and pulled me into a room down the corridor, it seemed to be his bedroom, Once the door shut he started pacing around
"Jacob. why are you so angry? I'm being friendly to your kind" I said trying to stop him
"Whatever" He replied still pacing
"Jake for god sakes! speak to me!" I finally stopped him
"do you understand what your doing, Your my Imprint but you seem to like Seth, who you've know for like 10 minutes more than me!" he shouted slightly
"oh my god!! Jake your pathetic you know, just because I was talking to him doesn't mean I'm madly in love with him. UGH how come your so jealous? - If it's bothering you that much just take me home"
when I spoke those words his face dropped
"If that's what you want" he said in more of a whisper "But I dont want you to go" He grabbed both my hands in his but I took them away
"Just take me home Jacob" I sighed walking out of the bedroom and all the way to his car, which was parked on the side of the barn. I saw him hot behind me sighing when he saw me get in the car.
"Your real mad at me aren't you?" he asked starting the car
I didn't reply
"because normally you'd take any chance to get on the bike, your so pissed off you dont even want to touch me"
"Jake just shut up, please" I brought my knees up and hugged them close to me, I was already starting to feel bad for upsetting him, but now Im just making it worse.
THE CULLENS HOUSE
"stop here. Rose is home" I sighed seeing him turn in for the driveway
"I can go closer--" he started
"no, here is fine" I protested, already opening the car door, I saw him nod slightly as I got out and shut the door, waiting for him to drive away before walking towards the house. As I walked it started to rain... HARD and by the time I was at the house I was soaked.
I slammed the front door shut and ran to my bedroom, I threw my clothes around the room as I changed into something dry.
"Ivy, Open the door" Rosalie banged on the door
"No" I shouted and sat on my rocking chair
"Ivy, what happened!?" she had sat with her back against the door
"Nothing, leave me alone" I murmured into my knees which were now up by my chest
I heard her groan and walk away, I started to cry heavily against my bare legs, I wish I didn't snap at him, I guess I was a little too friendly towards Seth...
