"IVY! ROSALIE!" Carlisle's sweet voice echoed from the direction of the kitchen, causing both of us to groan and run downstairs. "Yes?" We both acted sweetly in front of him, but he knew we weren't happy about today. "Help us with the food, Edward should be almost here with Bella now" he smiled, and shot me a look making me look into his eyes, to read him

I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed the salad bowl "Here rose, help me with this" i technically threw the bowl on the table, almost smashing it. "My pleasure" she grinned wickedly at me, we were planing on maybe adding something to the the salad, only something to upset her stomach. But we knew we couldn't, especially since Emmett was keeping close eyes on us
"There here" i anounced, body tensing at the thought "Ok, well, Ivy do you want to go meet them closer to the door?" Carlisle asked, but to be fair it was more of a demand "Yes sir" i rolled my eyes again and walked closer.
"... Coffins and dungeons and moats?" I caught the last part of what ever Edward was saying "No, not the moats" Bella replied "Not the moats" Edward let a soft chuckle fall from his lips before his eyes found me. "Ah well, Bella, Ivy, Ivy, Bella" he pointed a hand between the two of us "Its to meet you" she smiled so sweetly in my direction "Likewise" i shot back "... Ivy's my Biological sister, Carlisle saved her at the same time as me." Edward gave her a brief about me "wheres everyone?" He then asked "Mostly everyone is in the kitchen" i said, i still had a fake smile plastered on my face. I walked with them. "This is the one place we don't have to hide" he told her, he then looked up and laughed "i told them not to do this" I stopped them for a second and ran in front of them, so i could go back to help rose.
"Is she even Italian?" She asked, holding the bowl of salad towards Emmett "Her names bella" Emmett shot her a duh look, causing me to laugh "I'm sure she'll love it, no matter what." Carlisle put on his happy-go-lucky voice. Her scent caught everyones attention Rosalie sighed "get a whiff of that" she said Carlisle looked at her, then Emmett as the two of them chuckled "Here comes the human" i pointed at the doorway
Esme gave her no chance to walk in "Bella, we're making Italiano for you." She addressed the other three stood in the kitchen - I'd already gone to sit by the table, on the other side of the room. "Oh." She's definitely an awkward one "Bella, this is Esme. My mother for all intents and purposes" Edward introduced Esme just as Emmett waved a very sharp knife over his head. Bella addressed her in in italian, Esme replying the same. "You've given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time." Carlisle piped up "I hope your hungry" Esme added "Yeah, absolutely" polite... Maybe shes growing on me a bit... "She already ate" Edward sighed This definitely wasn't something Edward should of said, because seconds after, The bowl Rosalie was holding was in tiny pieces on the floor. I had already gotten up to meet her half way as she moved away from the glass She sighed, getting ready to rant "Perfect." Was all she said "Yeah, it's just because i know that you guys don't eat." "Of course" Esme was being as calm as possible, due to Rose "it's very considerate of you" "Just ignore Rosalie. I do." Edward said By now, Emmett and i were on either side of Rosalie "Yeah. Let's just keep pretending like this isn't dangerous for all of us" Emmett and i smacked her back against the wall when she started going forward "I would never tell anybody, anything" "She knows that" Carlisle actually looked disappointed at Rosalie's actions "Yeah, well, the problem is, you two have gone public now, so--" Emmett, as always backed rose up "Emmett.." Esme warned "No, she should know." I piped up, now taking Rosalies side "the entire family will be implicated if this ends badly" i stepped closer, the fury in Edwards eyes darted towards me "Badly, as in... I would become the meal" Though the current tension in the room, all of us laughed. "Oh god..." I sighed, hearing the trees move around beside the patio... Alice "Hi, Bella" she smiled and stepped into the room, Jasper centimetres behind her "I'm Alice" she ran up to her and pulled her into a hug. Jasper had stopped right next to me "Uh.... Hi" "Oh. You do smell good." Edward gave her that weird look once she was back near us "Alice, what are you--" "It's okay. Bella and I are gonna be great friends" I love alice.... But to someone whos not used to our powers, shes really weird when she does that - i tend to not mention mine. We all got awkward really fast. But then we followed Bella's eyes which were locked onto Jaspers pain ridden face "Sorry, Jasper's our newest vegetarian. It's a little difficult for him." Carlisle informed the confused girl "It's a pleasure to meet you." He said, and he wasn't breathing "Its okay, Jasper..." I touched his shoulder "You won't hurt her." alice, made the situation, once again, awkward "Alright, uh, I'm going to take you on a tour of the rest of the house" Edward sighed annoyed. But before he turned to leave he locked eyes with me.
Do you want to come? Sure... I was going to go get my shoes anyway
He nodded for me to follow him. "Okay" Carlisle smiled. "Well, I'll see you soon" Alice still didn't understand how awkward she made things "Okay" bella replied as Edward was turning her away. I wasn't very focused on the others but i heard small things like, "cute" "went well" and "clean this up"
"Im sorry. About what i said... Rose's temper rubs off onto me alot" i chuckled from behind her and Edward "Its fine.." She smiled.
Can i tell her? About your powers?
I nodded "Ivy is very different - like she's a lot more skilled than the rest of us." he started "how come?" she asked as the three of us landed at the top of the stairs looking towards me like she wanted me to carry on. "well, Like Edward and Alice I can read minds and see into the future. umm, I'm surprisingly strong, especially for how developed I am. And for all we know, there could be some more traits coming - that's what Carlisle says" I shrugged as I stepped back and leant on the wall next to the doorway towards Edward and I's rooms. "I thought, only a specific vampire could read minds, like Edward or see the future like Alice" "well, apparently not - and before you ask, I can't read your mind either" she shrugged lightly before Edward finally walked forward towards out rooms, mine being the first.
"so, uh, this is Ivy's room" he pointed at the closed door with aesthetic pictures on the panels. "-down the other way are Alice and jasper, Rosalie and Emmetts rooms" he stated "they all share?" she asked, rather shocked "well, you can't force the lovers appart" I chuckled "Anyway, want to show Bella, your room?" he asked me "I- uh... well, it's quite messy, I haven't kept on top of it at all - plus Esme hasn't been in there yet" I slowly opened the door. "again, the mess, just dont-" Edward didn't let me finish before he shoved me inside and pulled Bella along with him.
"so, yeah this is my room I guess, uh my computer, and stuff there - you know" I sighed jumping onto my bed "its really pretty in here, my room isn't much really, it's actually really boring compared to yours" she laughed "thank you" I smiled
can you go now? oh, yeah - ye sure.
"Ok lets leave her to it - I think she was going to go out with Rosalie tonight" he smiled at the both of us "yeah. we are just going to go down to the beach. you know" I nodded, practically to myself "dont. get into a fight because Instead of pulling you off like jasper tends to, rose will join" he warned quickly before he walked out "bye Ivy" bella smiled "bye Bella" once they were out Edward shut the door and left me to do my own thing....
