Mortuus Viventes

It's only been 10 minutes since my call with Liv ended. We told Jeremy and Alaric to either leave or hide considering they're both humans. They decided to leave which is a good thing. We didn't want them getting hurt.

We didn't expect Liv and Luke to be here immediately, but at the same time, we did. We all know that they're set on killing Kai. Well, Liv is set on killing Kai. Luke doesn't seem as...enthusiastic.

"They should be here by now." Damon mutters, clearly annoyed.

"Be patient." Bonnie scolds.

"Bon Bon, I really don't need you telling me wh-" Damon gets cut off from the sudden crash we hear.

"It sounds like it came from the living room." I whisper.

We all slowly walk out of the library and down the hall to the living room. We freeze. There's nothing there. A few books on the ground, but other than that, nothing.

"Okay, what the fuck-" Damon starts to ask, but he gets cut off again as Kai gets dragged into the center of the living room.

We see Liv standing there with Luke by her side as she uses her magic to bring Kai closer and closer. She uses her magic to also bring the chair in the living room towards Luke. He lifts it up and breaks one of the legs off, creating a stake-like object.

"No." I whisper. She just smiles at me.

Son of a bitch.

She holds the stake up and turns her body towards Kai.

"Motus." She states as the stake impales Kai in his chest.

He falls down, and I find myself running towards him and kneeling down. He looks up at me, and I can see the pain in his eyes. The stake barely missed his heart.

"Did you really think I would kill him that easily? That would be a dream for him. I think he's due for a little torture." Liv smiles. I look towards Bonnie.

"We got this." She whispers to me. I see Liv signal Luke.

Damon starts running towards the twins but collapses when Luke starts twisting his fingers. Damon groans in pain as he holds his head. Luke raises his other hand and twists it as well, breaking Damon's neck.

That just makes us all agitated, considering we've had it with these little bastards.

I see Bonnie raise her hands, and I know it's a fair fight then. Bonnie is the most powerful witch I know, so I don't doubt she could kill these twins by herself. She can only handle one at a time, though. She has Luke in her grasp, but that means Liv is still able to hurt the rest of us.

I have to think quickly. I lean down and kiss Kai's forehead.

"This is going to hurt a bit." I whisper. I wrap my hands around the wooden stake.

"Just do it quickly." Kai groans. I take a deep breath and rip the stake out. Kai's eyes squeeze shut in pain. I look over and see Caroline and Elena distracting Liv. I see Stefan slowly walk over to us.

"If he wants to help with this whole thing, he'll need blood." Stefan instructs.

"I know." I respond, as I help lift Kai up. I move my wrist towards him, but he shakes his head.

"We both know that'll make you weak. You need to be strong for this." He says weakly.

"Then feed me some of your blood afterwards to make me all better. You need to be strong for this, and I am not going to risk your life just so I can save mine. Take my blood." I state, and I can hear the force behind my own voice. Kai doesn't say anything, but he listens, taking my wrist and lifting it up towards his mouth.
