"Who is Magui?" 

"Bakit gusto mong malaman?" I questioned him.

When I didn't hear anything from him, I continued to walk away.

Bago pa ako makalayo ay hinawakan niya uli ang pulso ko saka malakas na pinaharap sa kanya. I swallowed hard when I nearly bumped into him.

"Bitawan mo 'ko kung ayaw mong mag eskandalo ako dito." Instead of listening to me, hinila niya pa ang kamay ko kaya mas napalapit ako sa kanya. His strong arm snaked around my waist while looking at me intently.

"What if I don't want to?" His lips formed a lopsided grin.

I glared at him. "Tigil-tigilan mo na 'ko, Mr. Licauco. For someone who will get married and soon to be a father, it's not good to see you being this close with another woman." I can't explain why I felt a pang of pain after I said this.

His lips turned into a thin line.

"What's going on here?" Isang boses ang nagpatigil sa amin. Pareho kaming lumingon kung saan nanggaling ang boses na iyon.

"Ate Gabby!" I gasped. Buong lakas ko na itinulak si Vernon.

Lumapit ako sa kanya habang si Vernon ay nanatili kung saan siya nakatayo.

"What are you doing to my guest, Vernon?" seryosong tanong ni Ate. She took my hand and hide me behind her back.

"I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm just asking something important." He lazily answered as he place his hand inside his pocket.

"Apologize to Euri."

"What?! You're overacting Gab." He frustratedly combs his hair with his fingers.

He loosened his necktie and sighed annoyingly. "I'm leaving,"

Ate Gabby shook her head in disappointment as she watched her cousin leaving.

She faced me with apologetic expression. "I'm so sorry if he made you uncomfortable. Sana mag enjoy ka pa din sa party kahit na gano'n."

"Don't worry, I'll give him a black eye or break his bones once the party ended." She told me with full of assurance.

"H-Hindi niyo naman kailangan gawin yun. Ayos lang po ako." I said calmly.

"No, it's okay." She patted my arm and smiled sweetly before glancing where Vernon is heading to.

"Lagot talaga sa'kin yan mamaya." She gritted her teeth.

Hindi ko alam kung assurance, takot o kaba ang mararamdaman ko sa tono ng boses niya.

The following days were okay. I went back to work after five days. While last week was very hectic at school. I had this Extraction case for my Clinic 1 Requirements. Kinailangan ko bunutin yung pangil ng patient ko, which I had difficulty with.

At the end, I was able to extract the canine pero naputulan ako ng root. Mga 0.6 - 1 mm na part ng root ang natira sa socket.

As expected nagkaroon ako ng penalty na 5 additional Anterior Extraction cases dahil sa natirang root fragment.

Sa mga oras na 'yon, inaamin kong nahirapan talaga ako dahil may trabaho ako at iba pang requirements sa school tapos nadagdagan pa. Plus, the struggle to look for patients! Knowing that there's a lot of sections in Dentistry at SMU. Halos lahat ng Clinicians nag aagawan na sa patients para makumpleto yung requirements.
