"I had a great time tonight." She smiled giddily as she refused to let go of Owen's hand, he'd rested his hand on hers on the car ride over and now she didn't want to lose the feeling of his hand in hers

"You should um.. stay." She offered as she opened the front door

"To help charlie that is, he could really use the help. He's like freaking out." She quickly covered.

"Ava! Thank God you're here!" Charlie said frantically as he presented a squirming tabitha who had red marker stained all over her lips

"CHARLIE? WHAT THE HELL? YOU HAD TO WATCH HER FOR 2 HOURS?" She ranted astonished as she dropped Owen's hand and took a crying Tabitha into her arms

"Oh no baby, it's okay, you're not in trouble my love, just remember what mommy talked about? The marker goes on the paper not on our face okay?" She said softly as Tabitha sniffled before looking up at her mother sadly

"Want be pretty like mommy." Tabitha sniffed in sadness

"No baby girl, do you realize how much prettier than mommy you are sweets, you are so beautiful okay? Just ask owie, and does he ever lie to you?" She asked causing Owen to smile before pressing a kiss to the toddler's marker covered cheeks

"You're beautiful sweet girl." He said as she smiled happily kissing his cheek sloppily

"Love love owie." She babbled.

"Okay, can I steal mom for a minute? I kinda need her like now." Charlie snapped as he tugged Tabitha from her arms and passing her forcefully to Owen before tugging Ava out the door

"Oh my gosh Charlie, she's going to love this." She breathed out as she looked around at the breathtaking scene.

"Why are you being so secretive?" Cait asked anxiously as she went to pull her hand from Ava's grasp

"You are the worst person to surprise." She said in amusement

"I don't like your and charlie's surprises, they usually involve cold water or feathers." Cait said irritably

"You'll like this one, trust me." She said as she stepped into the back yard and stepped to the side.

"Caitlyn nicole Reid." Charlie started as he pulled her over to the light display he and Ava had spent hours setting up.

"What is this?" She asked nervously as her eyes took in the sign behind him.

"Will you do me the tremendous honor of making me the most insanely happy person in the world and be my wife?" He asked as Cait's hands flew to her mouth in shock.

"What?" She gasped out

"Will you marry me?" He asked again as he dropped to one knee before her.

"Of course I will Charlie! I love you!" Cait squealed as he slid the ring onto her finger happily.

"So they're engaged?" Owen said coming up behind her, passing her tabitha.

"Could be us some day y'know?" He said with a small smirk
