"Cait I can't believe you." Ava said for the third time as she cradled the puppy closely to her chest as Tabitha's tiny fingers carefully went through the golden retriever's soft fur.

"I, you've been having such a hard time lately, I thought you needed a pick me up, and look how happy Tabby is, you can't put a price on that." Cait defended herself as Ava simply shook her head and laughed.

"Sav and I went halfsies! So if youre mad at me you gotta be mad at her too!" She said causing Ava to shake her head in amusement

"I'm not mad, thank you guys. Really."

"How about we go get some supplies for this little one, hmm?" She asked Tabitha as if she would respond, the toddler giggling as she held the puppy carefully in her lap.

"Charlie and I have to finish getting the supplies you wanted for Tabitha's party but Owen's free if you want company." Cait said casually as Ava looked at her in amusement.

"Stop meddling, we're just friends." Ava said as she collected the puppy from Tabitha's lap and carefully placed the sleeping pup into it's kennel.

"I didn't say anything! I'm just saying, he's a good guy, a really good guy, you need someone like him." Cait said as Savannah nodded in agreement.

"I've known owen forever and there are alot of fake people in the business but he's not one of them, he'd never hurt you like Sebastian." Savannah said.

"So what all do we need?" Owen asked as he tossed another puppy toy in the cart as Tabitha entertained herself in the cart.

"Pup, pup, pup." She giggled causing owen to smile and pass her the toy that was shaped like a dog.

"She really loves dogs." He commented causing the mother to laugh.

"She loves all animals but dogs and horses are her favorite, I want nothing more than to take her away from all this madness and live on a ranch in montana to make her happy." She said lightly

"Why don't you?" He asked curiously

"Take her and go, what's stopping you?"

"Sebastian, he'd never let that happen, I'm one bad image away from him taking her, he has more money than he knows what to do with and, I'm, I'm terrified he's going to win the case." She said as she focused on picking out the perfect collar.

"If any judge in their right mind decides he's the better parent, they're out of their mind." He said, a smile finally gracing her features at his words.

"I let him have everything, everything we worked for together, all I wanted was her, all I've ever wanted was her." She said as she kissed Tabitha's head affectionately.
