The music played loudly over the speakers as the guests danced wildly on the dance floor, Ava was proud of how the function had turned out, planning a party in just a few days to celebrate her two best friends by new years was impressive even for her
"Can I steal the party planner for a dance?" Owen asked as he produced his hand
"But you're a terrible dancer babe." She giggled as he gasped in offense
"I practiced with Tori every day after rehearsal for this, let me have this." He said playfully as he spun her around
"I'm so happy to be here with you." She smiled as she looked up at him lovingly.

"Thank you for throwing our engagement party, it was beautiful." Cait gushed as she pressed a kiss to Ava's cheek
"Of course, now if you'll excuse me there's 2 minutes to midnight and I gotta find the man I want to spend all if 2020 with." She said with a lovesick smile on her face.
"Gross." Cait said as she wrinkled her nose.
"I thought Owen was the simp." Charlie laughed
Ava laughed along before catching sight of the familiar head of blonde hair and crossing the room quickly to him
