"Sav please just let me in." Owen pleaded as he knocked on the door to the home, it was well past 3 in the morning but Owen refused to go home.
"She doesn't want to see you Owen, I was told not to let you in." Savannah sighed as she opened the door reluctantly.
"She's locked herself in her room, I don't know what you did but you better fix it Joyner or so help me-" Savannah threatened as she poked Owen's chest harshly.
"It was a misunderstanding, she saw a kiss, that was not reciprocated in the slightest-" owen explained as Savannah glared at him harshly
"Fix it!" She said as she shoved him towards Ava's bedroom
"Avs?" Owen called out quietly as he could hear her quiet sobs echoing from behind the door.
"I don't want to see you Owen." She said, tears streaming down her cheeks
"Ava it wasn't what it looked like at all, i-"
"I'm so stupid, I thought you actually cared about me!" She said angrily as she opened the door to face him
"I do care about you!" He said immediately
"It really looked like it with your tongue down somebody else's throat." She said as she wiped her tear stained cheeks
"Why wasn't I enough? What is wrong with me?!" She sobbed.
"Nothing, you're amazing Ava i-"
"Something has to be wrong with me! Because Everytime I- care about someone they leave me- I should have known better- that this was far too good to be true-" she rambled as tears streamed quickly down her cheeks.
"No! Ava listen to me god dammit.!" Owen snapped as he placed both hands on her cheeks.
"It was not a kiss okay, it was but it wasn't one I wanted, you are the only one I ever want to kiss Ava. Was that not clear when I told you this was our year?" He asked softly
"What I feel for you, it's not a game, I'm not going to hurt you, so how about you stop pushing me away? You and Tabitha are the most important things to me, I could love you the way you deserve but you have to let me Ava." He said quietly as he used his thumbs to wipe her tears away carefully
"Love?" She said just barely above a whisper.
"I don't know what I feel for you completely yet Ava, it might be too soon for love but I know I'm not willing to let you go, you're far to important to me, you're everything." He said simply causing her to sigh softly.
