"You're kidding?!" Ava squealed into the phone as she practically dropped the plate containing Owen's omelet she had fixed him.
He had spent the rest of the night and much of the day at her house as they made up repeatedly.
"I'll take that as an acceptance of our offer Ms.May." the director said in amusement as Ava practically squealed in excitement before it immediately faded away.
"This is such an amazing opportunity sir but I'm afraid I'll have to think it over." She said regretfully as she frowned at the thought. It was an amazing opportunity, one she certainly hadn't thought she'd get when she submitted her audition for the show, she had fallen in love with the script of Emily in Paris as soon as her agent had sent it to her and while she hoped it would be her rentrance into acting, she certainly had not expected to get the part.
"Of course Ms May, we need your response by Thursday if possible." The man said politely before Ava thanked him repeatedly before hanging up the phone, a confused Owen greeting her.
"Who was that?" He asked curiously as he took the plate from her.
"That was the casting director for the show I auditioned for a few months ago." She smiled shyly.
"And..?" He trailed off expectantly
"I got the part?!" She said quietly, sadness filling her as she had wanted to jump in the air from excitement but found herself hesitant.
"That's amazing! My love! I'm so proud of you! I'm so excited! Why aren't you excited? Why arent we excited Ava?" He asked as his face contorted into a frown
"Owen, the tv show.." she trailed off hesitantly
"Yes?"
"It's filmed in Paris." She finished
