Before you read this story, here's a quick disclaimer:

This chapter includes mild homophobia and talks about that theme. if you are triggered by this subject in any way, you might want to skip this one. I don't want to upset anyone, but this is a crucial element in the story, it'll shape the characters and is basically a fuel for drama. Future chapters will also contain it too, and I'll make sure to put a disclaimer.

I personally think that no one should be hated for something they can't change, and I hope you know that having homophobia in my story doesn't mean I am homophobic in any way, shape or form. I mean, I'm literally a girl, writing about two other girls that fall in love. Also, being homophobic wouldn't make sense, since I am wlw lmaoo.

If you decide not to read this chapter, that's okay.

I love you, and have a good day <3

Charli's pov

I jump out of my sleep being awoken by a stupid alarm.

Did I really leave an alarm on? Ugh.

What time is it anyways?

I open my eyes and see that I'm not in my bedroom.

I look around to try and figure out where I am because my brain does not work when I wake up.

A couple of looks around and I remember that I'm in y/n's room.

Wait but where is y/n?

I'm in her bed but she's not here with me.

Last night we went to sleep together, why didn't we wake up together?

She doesn't have to go to school or anything.

I get up from her bed to grab my phone which is, super annoyingly, not next to me on the bedside table.

I find it on y/n desk with a note that is made out of her Hello Kitty stationary.

I told her that she keeps on buying it just because it looks cute, and that she won't actually use it, but I guess I was wrong.

Hi baby!

I know you hate alarms but I'm super sorry, please don't be mad :)

If you are seeing this, I'm not in the house currently.

Wouldn't hurt to check but I'm probably not there.

I'm not saying where I went because that's a surprise, but I won't be long.

I LOVE YOU

Bye

Cutie.

That is kind of annoying that she set up an alarm and is not even there, but I'll let it slide because she said there's a surprise.

She knows I love surprises.

Well I sort of don't, because I like to know what I'm going to do so I can plan ahead and stuff like that but, being surprised and happy about something I didn't expect is a really great feeling.

I'm so excited.

For the surprise yeah, but mostly for y/n to come back.

I know I can be clingy at times but being away from her hurts.

It really does, no matter where I'm at or who I'm with, I still miss her.

And being all alone, doesn't help.

I open her closet and grab a hoodie that still smells like her and wear it so I can feel like she's here with me.

Wait? I look at the hoodie in the mirror for a second.
