before ya'll read HAPPY NEW YEAR LOVES. i'm really sorry i haven't been active. i'm not doing well mentally or physically. this might be really bad because i haven't written anything for jaden in a long time. if you guys hadn't noticed i changed my username cause um HAVE YOU SEEN DANIEL SEAVEY?! but i will be continuing this book whenever i get the time.

2020 was finally coming to a end. a year full of loss and difficulty for most people and for some a way to change themselves and grow as a person. that was the case with anna. Anna had, had her share of bad luck and loss but 2020 was the year she fell in love with her soulmate. Jaden on the other hand didn't go through as much as his girlfriend but seeing her in pain broke his heart and he wanted nothing more then to help her and ease the pain and he did, for the most part.
Anna was not expecting to do much for new years because covid19 still existed and she wanted to stay safe in her own shared home with her boyfriend so when she brought the idea up with jaden he was more than happy to spend new year's night with the girl whom he had fallen in love with. They planned a night together but there was more to the night then anna knew.
She walked down the stairs in a black thigh length dress to see jaden setting the table with a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket in the the centre of the table and the table looking like they were about to have a candle light dinner at an expensive restaurant.
Jaden was dressed in black suit and his curls set neatly on his head. He had just finished setting something on the table when he turned around and jumped a little when he saw his girlfriend looking at him in awe. When he turned around anna saw that the top three buttons of his shirt were undone making him look extremely hot. Jaden was looking at anna with slightly wide eyes and mouth gaped open. She blushed and looked down when she realised he was staring at her. he smiled at her even though she wasn't even looking at him.
He walked over to where she standing with a smile on his face. He wrapped his arm around her waist and she jumped slightly because she hadn't noticed jaden walking over to her. she looked up from the ground to find jaden looking at her with a smile.
"you look beautiful" he breathed out and placed his free on her cheek. she smiled at him sweetly and his heart melted at how gorgeous and adorable his girlfriend managed look at the same.
"you don't look to bad yourself" she giggled slightly and the two exchanged smiles before jaden guided her over to the table. he stood behind her nervous that she wouldn't like the set up.
"do you like it?" he asked curiously and his voice showing he was nervous. she turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him for a hug.
jaden reciprocating the hug immediately and visibly relaxing in her arms. they pulled away from the hug and anna walked over to one side but before she could do anything the blue eyed boy had pulled her chair out and helped her sit down. she couldn't help but let out a giggle. jaden mentally awed before taking a seat himself.
TIME SKIP- AFTER DINNER
the couple had just finished their meal and during the dinner jaden could feel his nerves build up and anna had started to notice his strange demeanour but decided not to question. jaden stood up and so did anna.
Before anna could ask what the plan for the rest of the night was the blue eyed boy had taken her hand and they stood in a position where they were facing each other. he took her hands in his fairly larger hands and gave her a nervous glance before kneeling down in front of her
anna let out a quiet gasp not expect him to do that. jaden cleared his throat before he started talking, "uh fuck, before you say anything no i-i'm not proposing well not yet atleast" the girls heart warmed at his sentence but was confused as to what was happening.
he made eye contact with her before he began speaking again, he talked about how glad he was that he met an angel like her, how she was the light in his, their first date, first time together, all their firsts, how he wanted to marry her and have kids with her in the future, her reaction to when he asked if they should move in together.
By the time jaden had finished his 'speech', anna had tears in her eyes and a few had also slipped out.
"I want to give you this promise ring as a promise that i will always love you , i want to eventually replace this with an engagement ring when we are ready. "
"do you accept th-this ring?" he spoke nervously
Anna looked at him awe before nodding her head and saying yes multiple times and the boy visibly relaxed and slipped the ring on to her ring finger before standing up from his kneeling position and pulling his girlfriend by the waist and kissing her with lots of love and passion and the girl reciprocating the same amount to her boyfriend.
