jaden and maeve were fuck buddies, friends with benefits. frequent hook ups. the two had caught feelings for each other but they just wouldn't admit it. none of their friends knew what was going on between them but the friend group shipped them. the sway boys were at saddle ranch for dinner and naturally they wouldn't be able to leave without getting swarmed by paparazzi. fletcher asked bryce about addison which got him annoyed because that's all everyone asks him about. he talked to noah about the situation with griffin since griffin wasn't at the dinner. he asked josh about ness. blake about amelie and so on till one question caught jaden's attention
fletcher:so all of ya'll are friends with maeve?
they all laughed and nodded
bryce:she's literally like my little sister
all the boys nodded because they knew of the brother-sister relationship bond the 2 had
josh:she's the best
noah:we love her
it was true they all did but not the same way as jaden.
fletcher:that's good man. so do y'all know what's going between her and vinnie?
they all looked at him confused. jaden had his jaw locked but played it off. he was jealous and he knew that if she cut of whatever they had going on. he would be fucking hurt.

fletcher:yeah. they were flirting on twitter. they even met up today
bryce:well i'm going to have to talk to her cause i don't know shit
he said serious yet jokingly

they all said bye to fletcher and headed to their cars. josh, bryce, quinton, noah and blake were going back to sway while kio and anthony were going to sway gaming but jaden had other plans. while heading to his car. he had messaged maeve.

he reached her apartment and rang the doorbell and waited for her to open the door but she didn't. vinnie opened the door while straightening his hair. if jaden wasn't mad or jealous before he sure was now. he gave vinnie a sarcastic smile before walking in and seeing the living room. it was spread with snacks and the tv was on and maeve was watching the show completely normally which meant the two weren't doing anything. vinnie said bye to maeve and ran out the door. because jaden looked mad like he was about to punch him in the face.

she said smiling
jaden:hi
he mumbled
maeve:you good?
she asked unsure about why he was acting like this
he looked at her and shook his head no
jaden:what's going on with you and vinnie?
he asked curiously hoping nothing wasn't going on between them so he could still have a chance and confess that he had feelings for her
maeve:why do you care?
jaden:your not answering me
maeve:well you aren't either
jaden:well i asked first maeve
he said sarcastically
maeve:well it's really none of your business jaden
she said annoyed
jaden:just answer me god dammit
he said losing his patience
maeve:no jaden why tf do you care
jaden:because i'm jealous okay?
he said raising his voice
jaden:i'm jealous and hurt because if there's something going between the two of you that means we have to need whatever we have going on and i don't want that
maeve:there isn't anything going on now because i'm i'm in love with someone else and vinnie knows that
jaden looked at her shocked and hurt. hurt because he loved her and she loved someone else but that's what he thought
jaden:w-who?
he said taking a breath
maeve:doesn't matter
she mumbled. she didn't want to confess her love for him when she thought he didn't feel the same
jaden:yes it does
she shook her head. he let out a sarcastic chuckle

he said desperately
that's when she said it
maeve:i love you jaden and i know you don't feel the same and i get it i shouldn't have caught feelings but i did. i love you and i'm sorry.
he looked at her shocked before a huge smile took over his face. he ran to her and grabbed her face pulling her a kiss. this was different to their other kisses. it was soft and full of love. they pulled away out of breath. he looked at her with a huge smile while she looked happy but confused
jaden:i love you too maeve so fucking much
they looked at each other with huge smiles. foreheads testing against each other. she wrapped her arms around his torso while his went around her neck. the two of them hugging each other tightly.
