Leah and I walked out of her mom's house.

I didn't know what to say to Leah. I don't know how to help her feel better. I can't try to help her feel better if I am angry too.

Her parents are cruel. They should've not beaten her. Now Leah has nowhere to stay.

If it wasn't for me Leah would still be living with her parents. Bianca would have never purposely sent her mom that photo. Her parents would have never beaten her up.

I ruin everything.

We arrived at the beach and sat behind the rock.

Leah's head was down. She tried to avoid eye contact with me.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Totally," lied Leah with a fake smile looking like she was holding back tears.

She sighed heavily, letting her head drop. A single tear rolled down the right side of her face. However, she wiped it off quickly.

"You're not okay," I said.

"I am," lied Leah.

Tears poured down her face like a waterfall. She tried to hide her face, but I could hear her.

I was thinking of what to do. I've never been in a situation where I have to help someone feel better.

"I'm sorry," I apologized sighing.

"It's not your fault," She said.

"It is," I sighed.

I gave her a long tight hug.

"I'll take care of Bianca," I whispered.

"You don't have to do anything," said Leah.

"I do," I responded.

"Can I stay with you for now?" asked Leah.

"Yeah," I said.

We pulled away from the hug.

"Let's go," I said.

"Okay," agreed Leah as she stood up.

We walked as I gave her a side hug the whole way.

I probably didn't help her feel better.

It was getting pretty late. I'm surprised Jasmin didn't text or call me. I didn't even tell her anything.

The sun was going down. All you could hear was the roaring wind and our footsteps on the hard grey concrete.

We arrived at the doorstep of Jamin's house.

I used my key to unlock the door.

"Hello? Is anyone here?!" I yelled.

The bathroom door opened and Jasmin walked unsteadily out of it.

"I'm here," She said.

"Are you drunk?" I questioned.

"Maybe," She said as she stood having trouble with her balance.

"Well, I need to ask you, if Leah can stay here for a while?" I asked.

"No," said Jasmin.

"She's homeless," I sighed.

"Why," questioned Jasmin.

"I got kicked out of my house," sighed Leah avoiding eye contact with Jasmin.

"But why?" questioned Jasmin.

"None of your business," I said.

"Then she can't stay here," replied Jasmin.
