(Naomi's POV)

My eyes slowly opened. It was night time and the moon was shining right above me. I was still in the same area that I fell asleep in.

I looked over to my right. Nerissa was in the ocean. She was looking up at the sky.

"Nerissa," I said weakly.

She looked over at me and smiled.

"Are you okay?" asked Nerissa.

"No, not really. My chest still hurts a lot," I complained.

"So you don't remember anything?" questioned Nerrisa with a puzzled face.

"I just remember falling asleep on the beach," I said confused.

"You got fully possessed," confessed Nerissa.

I gasped in horror. Then I wondered, am I still possessed?

"What did I do?" I stuttered.

"It wasn't you, it was your mom," said Nerissa.

I sighed out of relief.

"Your mom killed the queen," admitted Nerissa in a sad tone.

"I'm so sorry," I apologized frowning.

"It's not your fault, I'm not blaming you," She said.

She swam closer to the beach and gave me a quick hug. My clothes were now a little wet.

Nerissa noticed the bullet hole in my chest.

"What should we do about your chest?" She asked.

"I don't know, maybe I'll just die," I sighed.

"No!" shouted Nerissa.

A single tear dropped down from her right cheek.

"I won't let you die, I need you. You're the only person I have left," sobbed Nerissa.

"I love you," I said.

She gasped and smiled.

"You finally said it," laughed Nerissa.

I joined in on her laughter.

It was easier to express my feelings now. It's like my heart has gotten more open. I'm finally letting myself love others. Which was so difficult for me for a while.

"Do you have my phone?" I asked.

She observed the area.

"Oh it's over there," said Nerrisa pointing near the bottom of my feet.

I reached with my weak hand to grab my phone. It had several messages and missed calls from Leah.

"I'll call Leah and ask her to pick me up," I said.

"Wait!" shouted Nerissa.

"What," I replied rolling my eyes.

She pointed to Jamin's lifeless body.

"We can't just leave her body out," said Nerissa.

I slowly got up from the sand. I was having a hard time keeping balance. I was weak however I was determined to hide her body.

Using the last bit of my strength, I pushed Jamin's body into the blue ocean. Never to be found again, hopefully.

I can't stand steadily anymore. I fell onto the ground. Luckily, I had put my phone in my pocket.

I slowly took it out and dialed Leah's number. The phone wasn't ringing for long. She automatically picked up.

"Naomi! Are you okay?" panicked Leah.
