- Brennan's POV -
Since Ryan had been in New York, she'd been living her best life.
Every day and night, she was out with her friends and sister at concerts, restaurants, you name it. We still Snapchatted and texted now and then, but I gave her some space so she could enjoy herself.
She looked like she was having a good time, and that was all that mattered.
I would give anything to see that girl smile.
Then I clicked on her private story and I think my heart dropped to my stomach.
I knew that I had no right to be jealous since she wasn't my girlfriend or anything, but I felt jealous.
The thought of someone else touching her or seeing her in the way that I did, made me sick to my stomach.
Ryan never talked about him to me, but I knew that he existed. She never deleted their picture off of her Instagram, and I wondered if there was something still there between them.
Yeah, she posted me for homecoming, but that didn't really mean much.
And it was New Year's eve, I couldn't help but wonder if they were spending it together.
I was spending my New Year's Eve at Adler's house with Mila, Beau, Caden, Lachlan, some other guys on the basketball team that I wasn't super close to, and Mila's friend group.
