It was loud inside the court. Everyone's cheering, the teams----they are on fire--

An overstated opinion, at first, as everyone expected Kitagawa Daichi to win, until a certain agile tangerine shocked the whole court. He's fast----to the point of having the world stopped working. The only thing that can be seen was the ball being slammed down, but how the ball came on their side? No one was sure.

Everything happened in just a blink of an eye, and boy, did that made Kageyama tremble both in anger and frustration.

They should've marked the left. He's sure anyone, even just one from them should be on the other side since he can't cover the whole court.

Now a point was stolen from them.

And that's what they get for underestimating their foes.

It's like that certain player flicked some sort of a button inside Kageyama Tobio, Kitagawa's setter, that the thin thread of his patience broke. He shouted sharp words without brakes, much harsher than the critics he gave during practice matches to his team. However, it's not only him who's been on edge. His team mates too, who doesn't see what's so good about giving too much effort when the end game is clear to them.

Why? Why can't anybody do as he say? Why can't they understand the passion he have for volleyball, and all he wanted to say is for them to give their all no matter how strong or weak their opponents are? Kageyama's not one that is good at communicating, and only his love for volleyball and the ball that he always have in hand sooth him when he's alone--- when nobody tried to even talk to him.

He wanted to rant, he wanted them to exceed their limits but maybe he should've just stayed quiet. No, HE should've just stayed quiet.

The outcome's not the one he expected. Before he knew it they already rejected him. Wait, didn't they rebelled long ago? Jump higher! They didn't. Run faster! They slowed down. DON'T GIVE UP THE BALL. They did the opposite. He played setter because he wanted to touch the ball the most, because it's the most amazing and important role in the game. He's the brain, the controller, the king who commands his people and yet his team turned their backs on him.

That day, even though they won, Kageyama never smiled. He yelled at the tangerine, but uttered nothing to his 'allies'. When he turned around he suddenly felt nauseous by the looks his teammates give him.

Disappointment. Anger. Rejection.

It was as though they regret having him. They wanted to show him they're fine without him----it sickens Tobio.

The blue haired setter averted his eyes, shifting his feet towards the bathroom. At first it was just to escape reality, but then it became a cage. He spent a long time inside having no thoughts at all until he heard voices.
