It's been more than one hour now I have been standing on my feet writing notes. If the meeting doesn't end soon am sure my legs are going to give up.
For a jerk, my boss is a total one. Don't know for which past lives he is taking revenge on me. Sometimes some staffs members would look at my direction making sure if I was alright with their eyes but my boss aka Jake Levis would glare at me as if he is watching something boring.
Finally the meeting was over, I waited for everyone to leave including my boss. My legs feel so numb that I couldn't stand anymore, I just drop myself sitting on the floor and remove my shoes. I began to massage my feet when suddenly the conference room door open again.
Thank God it was Jenny.
"Oh dear what happened?" she was asking feeling panicked.
"Jenny, am fine simply I have been standing on my feet for a long time so it is hurting a bit." I kept my best tone to avoid her sensing the hurt am feeling right now.
"Wait a minutes I will bring some ice pack for your feet."
Before I could protest, she already went out and came back as a storm with an ice pack. After applying it a bit I could feel much better and return back to my office.
At the same time, I hear the intercom ring. I picked it up, it was the jerk again.
" Miss Adler, I have been looking for you since a long time. Where were you? I don't pay you to roam around. Come into my office immediately."
Before I could say anything he just hang up the phone.
Bastard
I knock at his door two times when he replied 'Come in' in a serious tone. I wonder why he is always angry.
It is only my first day today, I wonder how it is going to be in the following days. I sigh and entered inside.
