Chapter Sixty Four

"What do you mean, Dad?" Jeongin asked

"Yoon Seo-yeon, get up" Dad said while glaring at Chan

"Dad, please calm down. We can talk about this in a calm way. You beating Chan won't take away what he did-"

"Yoon Minho" Dad called

"Yes?" Minho

"Take your sister" Dad said

Minho vowed and slowly walked towards me "Just get up, Seyu"

"Dad! Please! Don't do this! You might kill him if you are mad right now. He knows what he did. Let's hear him out first. Don't just beat him without hearing his explanation"

"Do you think I will beat him to death if I know he did was right?!" Dad shouted

"Dad" Hyunjin called and walked towards me "You shouldn't shout at her. She has a point. We should hear Chan's side. How sure you are that Chan has a daughter? I mean maybe someone is using him"

"I know what I am doing" he said and took off his necktie

"Dad, please"

"Seo-yeon, just go. He might hit you as well. That'll make me mad. I don't want any reason to be mad at him-" Chan whispered

"Still!! He should hear your explanations"

I looked at my brothers and they are all staring at us, Jeongin, Jisung, Changbin, Felix and Seungmin. I know they don't want to interfere, but they still should tell Dad not to beat Chan.

"I'll wait outside" Dad told Chan and went outside

Chan stood up and wiped the blood on his lips. I can hear him breathing heavily, I quickly held his arm trying to stop him "Seyu"

"Chan, please"

"I'll be fine. I promise" Chan smiled at me and caressed my cheeks

"Seo-yeon" Changbin called and carefully removed my hands from holding Chan "Chan knows what to do. Let him decide"

Chan nodded and went outside.

"What if Dad beat him to death?"

"Just go to your room" Felix said

"What about Chan?"

"We'll take care of him" Seungmin

"Go on" Jisung said

"S-Snow"

"Huh?" Minho

"Snow who?" Hyunjin

"Chan's daughter"

"How did you know about that kid?" Jeongin

"She's in my room"

"What?!" Jisung

"She was left here by her Mom, telling her that her Dad is living here. I thought it was some kind of way for her to abandon her child"

"Y-You mean her Mom left her here?" Jeongin

I nodded "I don't want to ask her more questions. I think that's inappropriate for her to hear such. I chose to stay silent"

"What will we do now?" Felix

"What else? Of course, take care of that kid with all of our strength" Minho

"What about Chan?" Seungmin

"Why would you worry about Chan? He deserved to be punched for not looking out for his daughter and letting her grow up without him" Minho said and crossed his arms "Aside from that, Chan will be a great Dad. He took care all of us and watched us grow with a smile on his face. I know he is the perfect Father for Snow. He just did one mistake and I know he is regretting it now"

"For now, we have to talk to Chan and tell him about Snow" Jeongin

I feel sorry for Snow, for growing up without her Father beside her.

I am currently in my room, watching Snow sleep soundly. She looks cute. No wonder why she reminds me of someone. She's my first cute niece.

I heard a knock on my door. I quickly stood up and opened it. I saw my brothers standing in front of my room except for Chan "What?"

They kept whispering and pushing each other. I don't know why but they look like a fool trying to tell me something but they can't.

"Why is it always me?" Jisung sighed and walked towards me "T-The thing is..."

"Just say it"

"We want to see S-Snow" Hyunjin said in a soft voice

"Why are you guys hesitating? You should've just went inside"

"We were s-scared to wake her up" Changbin

I opened the door widely "Go inside"

"We'll be fine here. We just want to see her" Jeongin

"Okay, I'll just go to Chan"

"Why?" they all whispered

"What do you all mean why? I want to see if he is okay"

"What if Snow wakes up?" Hyunjin

"Let her"

"Aren't we supposed to-" Jisung

"Just stay here" I said and left them before they stop me. I went to Chan's room, I knocked three times and opened the door "Hey"

"Hmm? What brought you here?" Chan asked while smiling at me

I entered and sat beside him "D-Did he beat you to death? Are you okay?"

"Thanks to you, he controlled his temper. He talked to me about the kid. I just need to meet her and her Mom for-" Chan

"Her Mom left her here"

Chan looked at me "What do you mean?"

"Earlier, Snow arrived here. Her Mom said that her Father is living here. I thought it was some kind of prank or what. It's true"

"So, her name is Snow?" Chan asked

I nodded "She's currently sleeping in my room. The others were watching her sleep from outside, they are scared to wake her up"

"Now, they are all Uncles" Chan chuckled

"Don't you want to see her?"

He shook his head.

"Why? She'll be happy to see you"

"I am also happy to know she's here but I don't think I am ready. It felt like I need to gather my strength to face Snow. I still want to reflect" Chan

"I don't understand"

He took a deep breath and smiled "I want to take care of her like I am the best Dad in the whole world. I want to be ready for this"

I nodded.

"Snow deserves better" he whispered

I know Chan will be a great Dad.
