Chapter Forty Nine

"How is he?" Dad asked Chan

"He is okay now. We're just waiting for him to wake up" Chan answered

Chan, Dad and I are outside Hyunjin's hospital room.

Jeongin is inside while the others went home.

"I'll just go pay the hospital bills" Dad said and left me with Chan

Hyunjin, please wake up.

"Seyu" Chan called

"Huh?" I looked at him

"Hyunjin's going to be fine" Chan said and hugged me

"This is not going to happen if only I didn't accepted Zachary's proposal" I whispered and my tears started falling

"This is not your fault. No one wants this to happen. Besides, we didn't know that it was Park Ann's obsession with Hyunjin will be the reason of this all stupid happenings" Chan said and caress my back

"I just don't understand, why does this have to happen to us? We didn't do anything to deserve this" I whispered

Chan hugged me "This happens for a reason. I even thought the same but I will tell you. This happens for a reason"

"I'm scared. What if something bad happened to him?" I asked

"Hyunjin's going to be fine. He's going to be okay, don't worry okay?" Chan smiled and pinched my cheeks "Let's go, inside?"

"I'll stay here" I said

"But, you can't-" Chan sighed

"I'll just wait for Dad, I promise" I smiled

"Fine, make sure you're going inside when Dad arrived okay?" Chan reminded

"Yeah" I answered

He went inside.

I sat and closed my eyes.

What if something bad happens to him? I'm scared. I know it's not that deep.

Maybe, I bring misfortune to our family that's why we're encountering such happenings.

I should go and take a walk.

I started walking, I saw some rooms with different patients with different disease.

"N-No! You have to help her!" an old woman said while crying

"I'm sorry but no one's paying for her hospital bills" the doctor said

"I'm begging you! She needs to be injected! I can't lose my granddaughter!" the old woman said while kneeling down

"I want to help but the hospital doesn't want to give me the right" the doctor said and left the old woman

The old woman was crying while lying on the floor.

I quickly ran and kneeled in front of her.

"W-What happened?" I asked

"Help my granddaughter, please" she said while crying
