Chapter Seventy Eight

"I'll treat you this one" I said and showed him the strawberry flavored ice cream

"Forget it" he sighed

He kept sighing ever since he found out that I don't know it was his birthday. We're in th convenience store because I said I am hungry and craving for something. We are here for an hour but we are not yet choosing anything. It's not a problem. The cashier knows him. There is also a group of junior students here.

To: Chan

Is it ready?

From: Chan

I don't know. Paz wasn't here yet. I bet he will be here anytime soon. Just don't go here yet.

To: Chan

Alright. How about the others?

From: Chan

Arrived 5 minutes ago and they already knew about the surprise.

I texted Chan when I heard that it was Hajun's birthday today. He hurriedly told Paz to go and buy a cake while Mary and him are busy cooking for Hajun. The others knew because Chan told them.

"I'm going home" Hajun

"You can't!"

"Why can't I? You can walk from here" Hajun

"Hyunjin said you have to take me home. It'll take me 10 minutes to walk from here to my house. It's already dark. What if something happens to me? Are you going to be responsible?"

Hajun raised his eyebrow "Yes"

"H-Huh?"

"Excuse" he said and walked out of the convenience store

What should I do?! He can't just go home and ruin the surprise we prepared. What the fuck?!

"You! How can you break up with me after I seen you with a girl?!"

I can hear everyone gossiping while looking at Hajun. I guess this will work and this is better. I am really sorry.

He looked back "Huh?"

"You kissed her and told her you are single when I am pregnant with our child?! How dare you?! You are giving me stress when I am currently carrying our child?! What if something bad happens to the baby? What if I-"

He quickly entered and walked towards "Are you crazy?"

"Now, you are accusing me with another man just because I caught you?!"

"Everyone is looking" he whispered

"A-Ah" I started acting like my tummy is aching

"W-What is happening?" he asked

"I-It h-hurts"

"Are you serious?!" he shouted and carried me in a bridal style as he walked out of the convenience store and put me inside.

Oh my gosh. This is fun.

I heard the other side of the car door closed. He started driving the car-

"Hahahahahahaha!!"

The car suddenly stopped.

"Ya!!!"

"Yoon Seyu" he called

"I'm sorry hahahaha. You don't want to listen to me. So, I did that"

He rolled his eyes "I'll drive you home now. Don't even try to show up in front of me tomorrow"

I sighed. I'm dead. He is mad. I don't even know if the surprise is ready. Argh. This is ruined. My heart almost dropped when my phone started ringing.

Jeongin calling...

"Why?"

[It's ready. Where are you?]

"Alright" I ended the call

I looked at Hajun and he looks so mad right now. What am I suppoded to tell him? Another lie, again? Argh. This will be the last time. I swear.

"Hajun"

"What?" Hajun

"Chan wants to talk to you. He heard about what happened. None of my brothers knows the whole story. So, he wants to talk to you"

"Why me? You can say it to him. You already knew about the story. Why ask me to do it?" he said

Is he on his period? Wow.

"Please?"

"I'll talk to him tomorrow" Hajun

Seriously.

He parked the car in front of my house and looked at me "That will be the last time that you will joke around me or you are dead. I swear"

"Fine-"

Someone knocked on the door.

"D-Dad?"

"What? That's your Father?" Hajun asked

"You are dead. He probably heard what you said" I winked

Hajun glared at me and got out of the car, he opened the door for me and faced my Father "Good evening, Sir"

"Who are you? Why are you with my daughter?" Father asked

"I am her friend-" Hajun

"He is my boyfriend"

"Eh?" Hajun looked at me and his eyes widened "Are you crazy?" he whispered

I'm sorry but I have to do this. In this way, Dad will tell him to go inside and that's when the surprise will happen.

"What? Boyfriend? How come you didn't asked her hand? Did you even tried courting her? I mean is, I am fine with her having a boyfriend" Father

"Uh..."

"Her brothers are the problem here. They will probably beat you or else kill you. I don't know what made you jump to being a boyfriend so sudden. Where are you studying?" Father

"Spring H-Hill University" Hajun

"Really? Then, do you know her brothers?" Father

Hajun nodded "Yes, they are in the same group as my brother"

"You should be scared by now. The last time I checked, they almost killed all of Seyu's suitor" Father

Is he part of the plan or is he trying to tell Hajun to go away? Dad!!! You are not helping at all!!!

"Why don't we go inside? I bet he wants to meet them?"

"Seyu-" he called

I dragged him before he even say it. He is probably nervous now as if he is really introducing himself as my boyfriend. We all stopped in front of the door, the three of us are hesitating to open it.

"You should open the door for us" Dad said

Hajun vowed "Y-Yes, I will" he opened the door, that's when the lights turned on

"Happy birthday!" my brothers, Paz, Mary and Snow shouted so loud

Hajun looked at me "U-Uh..."

"Happy birthday, Jeong Hajun"
