You had awoken a few moments ago, the blanket still shielding you from the cold whilst Blu was dragging her finger up and down your stomach and chest as you stared at the ceiling, the luminescent lights keeping your focus. You lifted your head up just enough to catch Blu's gaze

"Hi there Human"
She whispered sweetly

Her head lazily placed on her left arm as she stared at you with kindness in her eyes.

"I figured I would try to whisper from now on, try not to hurt your cute little ears"
Blu said slightly tickling you

"Why are you being so kind to me?
You asked

Blu seemed shocked at that comment

"W-why would I not?"
She replied

You sat for a second silent

"J-just some scary encounters I guess"
You replied

"How so?, I mean other than that awful woman throwing you off that nasty cliff"
Blu said

"There was a lamia lady in that mansion or castle thing...she hurt me a lot...I don't know why...maybe an outlet for stress....maybe she just liked seeing me in pain...Sometimes I can still feel that crushing force of her tail.."
You replied quietly

"....w-why would anyone do that?! I swear mark my words human if I ever meet this woman she will never hear the end of it!!"
Blu said angry

You giggled a bit

"You know it's nice to see you smile little human...speaking of human...how exactly did you end up like this? I mean I haven't seen that many of you....but I know very well you aren't the size of a clown fish"
Blu asked

You sat for a moment

"There was this girl who had approached me...she made me think she liked me...but it was just a trick to get me into her home...all so she could sell me to that Vampire..."
You said

"Oh...I'm sorry...that must have broken your heart..."

"You think it would? But...for some reason I can't explain...I miss her..."
You replied

"Well...you don't have to worry about that right now, first things first...let's see how well you healed over night."
Blu gestured for you to try to stand up

Your arms were still sore but you could lift yourself. Thought the moment you attempted to stand you immediately fell over in pain, luckily Blu was quick enough to catch you before you hit the ground

"Well it's progress."
Blu said with a half smirk

You sat in her hand hold your leg. Pain steering through it, Blu's eyes caught this little gesture.

"Hey it's ok, you can stay with me until your ready, I'll protect you"
Blu said with a sweet smile

"Thank you, I-I don't know what I would have done without you.."
You replied

"Awwwwww"
Blu said blushing slightly,  though rather than a noticeable red it was more of a dark violet because of the blue skin

Blu brought you to her lips and gave you a light peck on your small face. Susie than emerged from the water pool in the middle
