Twenty-Three

Wala namang masyadong ganap after niyang sabihin 'yon. Tiningnan lang siya ng mga nandito sa loob ng headquarters, tapos ay wala na.

Siguro'y busy nga siya sa pakikilambingan kay Issa. Sana all nalang ako.

Nanatili pa kami ng saglit dahil mahaba ang binigay na oras sa amin para makapag-prepare sa night party mamaya.

"What's your OOTD for later?" Tanong sa amin ni Clei, dahil siya itong fashionista, more like fashion icon sa amin.

"I'd wear clothes ofcourse, dumbass." I replied.

"Mukha ba akong nakikipagbiruan? Panget mo ka-bonding ah," She laughed while saying these words to me.

"I'll just wear my khaki silk bodysuit or halter top and a skirt ata." Lahad ko sa kanya ng mga isusuot ko. "Ikaw?"

"Gown, teh." Puno ng sarkasmong saad niya.

"Funny mo naman bat di ka nalang kaya sumama kay satanas?" Pabirong saad ko na ikinatawa niya pati nung mga taong nakikinig sa amin.

"I guess I'll be wearing a dress," Sagot niya sa akin.

Sumang-ayon lang ako sa sinabi niya kasi kahit ano namang damit eh bagay sa kanya. Ang ganda pa ng mukha niya pati katawan.

We were all so busy with our phones checking our social media accounts, playing online mobile games, taking selfies and all para naman hindi kami masyadong ma-bored kakahintay sa night party mamaya.

Ang iba nga ay natutulog pa eh.

The party will start at seven pm later pero ngayong hapon palang ay todo handa na sila sa auditorium kung saan gaganapin yung party.

Ready na ang music, naka-set up na lahat. I can already hear the loud music that will be used for later.

For sure masaya 'to. Definitely one for the books.

"Tara girls, dinner," Pagyaya ni Erin sa amin, "My treat."

"Yeah, better be. Napaka-kuripot mo eh, dapat lang talaga." Maarteng sagot naman ni Clei sakanya.

"Early dinner is a great idea, para makapag-prepare narin tayo for later's event." Pag-sang'ayon ko naman. "Tara!"

It's already five in the afternoon when Erin invited us for a dinner. Mas mabuti narin ito para may oras pa kami para mag-prepare mamaya. Less hassle.

We've decided to drove by the nearest resto para hindi narin hassle pag-balik dito sa school mamaya.

They got proper meals for them, while I just got some pasta and pastries for myself. I'm still full though.

It took them only fifteen minutes to complete our orders bago nila i-serve sa amin. Buti nalang. Kung hindi, ewan ko nalang baka ma- hassle nanaman kami mamaya and we don't want that to happen.

We just talk about some stuffs pati narin sa mga courses na ite-take namin for college, and sa universities na rin. I'm sure maghihiwa-hiwalay kami ng school neto.

"Where are you planning to take up college?" I asked them one by one.

"I'll be going to Korea to pursue my studies. Sasama na ako sa parents ko doon." Keena exclaimed sadly.

Oh, right. May-ari nga pala sila Keena ng isang Real Estate dun sa Korea kaya dapat ay dun na siya. All of her siblings are studying there na rin. Nakakalungkot naman kung mapag-iiwanan siya dito.

"ADMU. Y'all know how much my family loves that school, right?" Erin said while laughing.

It's true though, lahat kasi ng family memebers nila ay sa Ateneo nag-aral. It would be a shame on her part kung hindi siya doon mag-aal kasi mapag-iiwanan siya.

"UST. My forever dream school." Clei exclaimed whole-heartedly.

We all know how Clei loves UST so much. It has always been her dream school. She loves it's construction and I guess she loves yellow, that's why?

"Kaye," Pagtawag sa akin ni Keena, "How about you?"

"UST. It's my dream school too alam niyo 'yan." I explained to them while eating my pasta, "Sakto naman sa chosen course ko eh. I'm actually planning to take up the USTET next month. Todo review na ako ngayon." Pagpapaliwanag ko sa kanila kaya naman tumango nalang sila saakin bilang tugon.

University of Santo Tomas has always been my dream school. Their way of teaching is beyond amazing. I'm sure that I'll learn a lot from that school.

I'm planning to take up Medical Technology as my pre-med course and I'll be taking up the USTET next month. Grabeng pagrereview ang ginagawa ko ngayon. I need to pass this one kasi i'll apply for their scholarship program din sana.

I know na kaya naman bayaran ng family namin yung expenses sa school pero I just can't help it. Ayokong maging pabigat masyado and I want to show to everyone that I can do some things too, even without their help.

We just talked about some matters after nun and we decided to go back to school immediately since it's already six-fifteen in the evening.

Pagkabalik namin sa school ay nakikita na namin ang ibang students na nagsisidatingan at reading-ready na para sa party, kaya naman nagmadali na kami pabalik sa headquarters namin para mag-ayos.

Naligo lang muna ako ng saglit. Gosh, that was so fast. I'm not that satisfied but I have to.

I've decided to just wear my silk bodysuit since it hugs my body perfectly tapos backless pa siya, it looks so elegant and expensive at the same time.

I just partnered it with my shorts, then sandals. I also put on some accessories like necklace, earrings and rings to make myself look more stunning as ever.

I also applied super light make-up, and it is water-proof though. My eyeliner is a bomb.

I also bring my mini sling bag with me to complete my OOTD, and now I'm good to go.

We took some photos with our looks and outfits before we got out of the headquarters to proceed to the auditorium for the party.

Napapatingin ang ibang mga eatudyante sa amin. Di ko alam kung dahil ba sa suot namin o sa mga mukha namin, pero whatever it is, we came here for ourselves to enjoy and to party. We don't need their opinions and validations.

Agad kaming nakapasok sa auditorium and this place is like a night club.

We went to our seats already which we reserved earlier tapos umupo muna doon hanggang sa napupuno na ang auditorium ng mga estudyante at magsimula na ang emcee na siya ring DJ sa pagsasalita.

"Students. Stand up and dance and don't forget to make this night a memorable one."

"Let the Party begin!" Sigaw nung emcee kaya naman naghiyawan na kaming lahat.

Just like that, we party like there's no tomorrow.
