Chapter Eight

"What's with your faces?" Tanong ko.

"Waaahh!" Sigaw nilang tatlo habang niyu-yugyog nila yun balikat ko pati ulo ko.

"Nahihilo ako, ano ba?!" Sigaw ko sa kanila kaya naman natigilan sila pero abot-tenga parin ang ngiti sakin.

Lumapit si Erin sa may bandang gilid ko kaya naman napag-gitnaan ako nila ni Clei. "Ikaw ha, kayo pala? Di kami updated." Nanunuksong sambit niya saakin kaya naman inirapan ko siya.

"I don't know what's on his mind kanina. Naguluhan din ako. I was put on the spot." I answered her.

"Okay." Napang-asar parin niyang sabi saka nilayuan ako, "Whatever you said." Sambit niya ulit saka umalis na sila ni Keena para mag-mall. Tapos na kasi ang activity for today and pinapa-rest din kami ng coach namin para sa laban bukas so I had to go home early na din kaya nagpaalam narin ako kay Clei.

I was about to go out of the gym when I suddenly bumped into a girl. Yep, a girl, since she's also wearing shorts.

"I'm sorry." I apologize.

"It's okay." Issa? Right, Issa said. Then gave me a sweet smile. Why does she have to be this pretty? Is she a goddess? Or what? Nevermind, I just nod at her while smiling then passed her so I could go out of the gym already.

I just noticed that she was staring at my jacket while I was walking away from her. I wonder if Blake also gave her his jacket when they were still together. Argh! So many thoughts coming into my mind! I hate it!

Wait? I don't know how to uwi pala?! Should I commute? But, I don't know how. Should I book a grab? It'll take time. Should I call kuya, I know that he's still here. Oh right, I should call him first.

[Hello?] Kuya answered.

"Kuya hey, Where are you now?" I asked him.

[Dito sa hospital ng school niyo. Bakit?] Kuya asked. Why is he there? Ah, right! He's a doctor Kaye. Why are you so dumb?!?!

"Wala kasing nagsundo sakin. I don't know how to commute din. Can you uhm... fetch me here?..." I shyly asked him while I was using a low tone. Damn! Kahit close kami ni kuya nahihiya parin ako sakanya kasi sa pamilya namin, nasanay akong kahit anong gawin ko ay utang na loob ko pa sakanila.

[The heck, Kaye? Where are you? Bat ngayon mo lang sinabi. You should have texted me. Text me your location. I'm on my way to fetch you.] He said then immediately ended the call. I can't help but smile while texting him my location. He's been the kindest to me, even after all what happened. Sa lahat ng miyembro ng pamilya ko, siya lang yung umintindi sakin. Siya lang yung naging tahanan at sandalan ko. I owe him a lot that's why I promised myself that when the right day comes, I will made kuya the proudest brother ever.

I was just waiting for kuya to arrive when I felt that someone touched my shoulder so I panicked..... Oo na, OA na.

"Hey." Takte, nagulat ako dun kaya napatalon ako kainis.

"Oh gosh. Nakakagulat ka naman." Reklamo ko sakanya kaya naman tinawanan niya lang ako. Oh gosh! Did....he....just laugh at me?....OMG!

"Wala kang sundo? Lika, sabay kana sakin." He offered me to take a ride on his car but I refused.

"Thanks but sorry cause I'll have to refuse your offer this time, Blake. Kuya will be fetching me." I answered him while smiling so he just nod at me and umalis na.

Ano yun? Umalis ng walang paalam?

To be honest, I really hate it when people will just peave with no goodbyes. I feel so unspecial at all.
