•CHÅPTER 19•

"She just showed up out of the blue and everything is honky dory again?"

Tanya sipped on her glass of wine and and rolled her eyes a bit at the thought of Ruby

Donna smiled and shrugged, "She's trying"

"Tanya it's seven in the morning and you're already drinking?"

Rosie came strolling out of the hotel with a big plate of breakfast from the buffet and a steaming cup of coffee

"You're eating that much so early in the morning?"

Rosie scoffed and sat down next to Donna giving Tanya a deep scowl

"Shut up"

Donna laughed and shook her head while watching her friends, her gaze shifted to a figure sulking not too far away on the far end of the hotel balcony. She quietly excused herself and walked over to him.

"Sir?"

He peeked over his shoulder and gave her a weak smile

"Yes?"

"Is everything alright?"

He stayed silent as he watched the sunset with a melancholy gaze and sighed deeply

"Why would it not be?"

"I'm sorry I'll go"

He turned as she was about to walk off

"I'm sorry I guess I'm just tired"

She smiled weakly and nodded, "I'll go put the kids to bed"

He nodded with a forced smile, "Thank you"

After everyone retired he finally sighed and made his way to his bedroom. He closed his door and instantly started undressing himself like he always did getting ready for bed.

"I've been waiting for ages"

He jumped and turned to the voice on his bed quickly grabbing to cover himself

"Elsa!?"

She was laying on his bed in ruby red lingerie, 'ruby', his mind wandered till he felt someone touch him

"You are seriously tense darling"

"Umm....no....no I don't think so"

She laughed and started undoing her bra

"Oh....uh....Elsa.....I...."

"Shhhh....", she threw her bra over his shoulder and threw her arms around his shoulders pressing her lips to his urgently. He tried to resist as his mind went back to Ruby but then his resolve crumbled and his imagination took over

Relaxation. That's what she needed. Last night was the worst night's sleep she'd had in a long time and now she was begging the sun to absorb all her pain and anguish and burn it to the point where she couldn't feel a single thing

The heat suddenly disappeared making her frown and squint to open her eyes.

"Hello?"

He woke up feeling empty and lost, his gaze fell on a still sleeping Elsa. He sighed looking at her, he felt guilt now more than anything. Elsa was a beautifull woman, full of life and glamorous yet nothing she did could ever compare to what Ruby did so effortlessly and guilt ate at him like some kind of parasite. She derserved so much more than what he could give her.
