"That was actually fun mom I'm glad we did it"

Ruby smiled as she unlocked her room door and gestured for Donna to come in with her

"Not gonna lie I had fun too"

She started stripping off her clothes making Donna close her eyes

"Oh stop.....we're both women.....all the same parts"

"I....."

"Fine I'll go to the bathroom....."

"No it's fine.....I'm fine"

Ruby nodded then started changing into her first outfit choice and started re-doing her make-up

"What are you wearing to the party tonight?"

Donna sat on the bed and watched intrigued as her mother expertly made her face

"Uh.....just......you know.....clothes"

Ruby laughed and turned her head to look at her daughter

"Are you telling me you have nothing to wear?"

"I'm only suppose to look after the children"

Ruby rolled her eyes and turned back to her mirror

"You can do any job on earth and still look fabulous while doing it....."

"Ofcourse.....you always say that"

"Well it's true and us Sheridan girls are fabulous.....It's in our blood"

"Glitter in our veins?"

"Exactly......you DO remember everything I've taught you"

"Unfortunately...."

"Hey......stop changing the subject....I'm making sure you're looking irresistible tonight"

"Irresistible? For who exactly?"

"Oh come on I saw some hot guys on our way down to the beach"

"I'll pass"

Ruby frowned, "Who's the guy?"

Donna looked up at her mother and shook her head. Ruby sighed and went to sit next to Donna

"Men can be idiots sometimes.....but luckily we don't need them to live"

Donna looked at her mother again and forced a smile

"I'm just tired of getting hurt"

Tears involuntarily started running down her cheeks, Ruby awkwardly sat closer to her and put an arm around her shoulders

"I know sweetheart"

"How!?......you don't get attached.....I tried mom I tried not to but I DID....and he left...."

"Well I've felt this heartbreak......a long time ago I let my gaurd down and got my heart tore from my chest"

Donna furiously wiped her tears, "Did he leave?"

Ruby shook her head solemnly, "......I did"

"Why?"

"I had no choice"

Before she could ask anything more her mother was up and rummaging through her closet

"What are you doing?"

Ruby peeked around one of the doors

"WE are going to get you laid"
