Letters.

Lots of unsent letters that were now lost to time and the elements.

When Jeong Hyeok moved apartments, the boxes of letters he kept were lost by the movers. Upon discovering that they were nowhere to be found and any effort to try to track them were futile, his heart broke once more and he felt like he lost her all over again.

As he stared out the window of the plane that was now taking him to another country for business, checking his emails on his laptop, he couldn't help but wonder how things would have been different if this kind of technology was available to them at the time.

It was a useless exercise he did not indulge in often, but there were times that it crossed his mind and he couldn't help pondering that thought.

Back in Seoul, Se-Ri checked her email to see that Jeong Hyeok had sent his comments already. Going over the file, she replied, "There are items I am not clear on. May I consult with you on this? Should I set up a meeting with your office?"

He quickly sends back, "I'm on my way to Japan."

"You've left?"

"Yes. I'm out for a week. I will be back."

Se-Ri let out the breath she was holding. She hated those words. It made her heart ache because the last time he said that to her, she was sure he would keep his promise, but it was the uncertainty of the length of time they would be separated that her youthful heart was unable to bear.

Things were different now, she reminded herself. She was older. AND they were not together. Turning back to her email, she noticed there were other items he mentioned.

"This is the number of my Fund Manager, Park Gwang Beom. I told him to help you with registering your business in the proper government agencies, if you truly are serious about putting this up and moving out of your current agency. Once that is done, Gwang Beom will have to do some inspections before the we transfer the money. He will contact you. But feel free to contact me directly if you need anything."

Gwang Beom did as Jeong Hyeok mentioned and got their company registered in record time. "We'll just have to wait for Mr. Lee to arrive to sign final paperwork before the money is transferred to your account."

Se-Ri thanked him. "I appreciate it. Just a question though, can't these things be done electronically nowadays?"

The handsome young man smiled. "Yes, but Mr. Lee prefers to sign things by hand for some documents. Angel investing is one of them. He'd probably want to go over the papers again before he finally signs."

Se-Ri nodded.

"May I ask a few management questions?" Gwang Beom started. When she agreed, he continued, "How much decision making would Mr. Lee have in the business?"

"What do you mean?"

"I understand that there could be influence exerted in the projects that the talents take. Would he have a say in accepting or declining a script, for example?"

Se-Ri thought about it. "Since he owns part of the equity at this time then it would only be fair that he can have some input. However, I do not want to relinquish full control on that."

Gwang Beom made notes then asked again. "How about in hiring talent?"

She was about to respond when she decided to push back. "No offense, but these are things I would rather discuss with him. I would like to understand where he is coming from before I agree or disagree to anything."
