After finding Aang on the crescent shaped island, we fly on Appa toward the Fire Nation mainland. To not be noticed by anyone, Aang and Katara use their waterbending and airbending to make a cloud to use as a disguise. "I think I see a cave below." Aang tells the others and I. "Shhush... keep quiet!" Sokka scolds him from his spot on Appa's side next to me as I direct him to land onto the island where the cave is. Once Appa lands on the island, Aang uses his airbending, dispersing the cloud. Sokka dismounts and begins a furtive reconnaissance as the others and I dismount from Appa. "Great job with the cloud camo, but next time, let's disguise ourselves as the kind of cloud who knows how to keep its mouth shut." he tells Aang. I roll my eyes at his comment about to retort, but Toph beats me to it. "Yeah, we wouldn't want a bird to hear us chatting up there and turn us in." she says sarcastically. "Hey!" Sokka exclaims. "We're in enemy territory. Those are enemy birds." he explains as he points upward to the birds perched on the rock just behind him. One of the birds hops down onto his head and squawks plaintively. The others and I laugh, while Sokka is unamused.

The others and I start walking toward the cave. All of a sudden, Sokka leaps over our heads, seemingly, to ward off some "threat". He peers suspiciously about before he dashes into the cave, followed with the rest of us. "Well, this is it." Sokka says as he turns to the others and I. "This is how we'll be living until the invasion begins. Hiding in cave after cave... after cave.. .after cave..." he continues as he drops his head to his chest with each repetition of the word "cave". "Sokka, we don't need to become cave people. What we need is some new clothes." I say to him. "Yeah, blending in is better than hiding out." Aang agrees. "If we get Fire Nation disguises, we'll be just as safe as we would be hiding in a cave." "Plus... they have real food out there." Toph states. "Does anyone wanna sit in the dirt and eat cave-hoppers?" she asks, before she punches the cave wall and several cave hoppers hop out. At the sight of the hoppers, Momo jumps down from my shoulder, catching one of them, beginning to chow down on it. "Looks like we got outvoted, sport." Sokka says to Momo. "Let's get some new clothes." he says to us, and the others and I agree.

Not far away from the cave that we found, we find somebody's house where they have their laundry hanging up on lines above some steam vents. The others and I peek over some rocks, looking over at the clothes. "I don't know about this. These clothes belong to somebody." Aang says hesitantly. "I call the silk robe!" Katara exclaims as she leaps up and over the rocks, running to her prize, snatching it from the line. "But if it's essential to our survival... then I call the suit!" Aang says before following my sister's lead. I survey the lines of clothing and my eyes land on a bright red corset like top with gold trim. I jump over the rocks and run over to it, grabbing it with a pair of pants and a skirt to go over it. I grin, knowing that I'll look just like any other Fire Nation citizen with this outfit!
