Biography:
Early Life: Mia was born in the Southern Water Tribe. She's always been very protective of her siblings, Sokka and Katara, especially after her mom died and her father went off to fight in the war. Before her mother died, she and Katara were very close to her and their mother give Mia her necklace. But when their mother died... Mia realized that Katara was taking their mother's death harder than she was, so she decided to give the necklace to Katara.
Growing up: Ever since her father, Chief Hakoda and the rest of the men from the tribe left to fight in the war, she is determined to keep her siblings and everyone else in the village safe, no matter what she has to do, to do it. Even if it means that she has to die to keep them safe. Before her dad left, she promised to keep Sokka and Katara safe and Hakoda knew that she would do everything in her power to do so.
Where she is at the present time: Taking care of the people in her tribe.
