It's been a few hours since we left Zhao's harbor and I can't sleep... It's not that I'm uncomfortable, it just feels weird, not being in the cell that I was in before the whole situation with Zhao. It's as if I'm not considered to be a prisoner anymore. I mean, I know that Iroh convinced Zuko to give me a proper room instead of putting me back in my cell but, I mean come on! I groan as I stare at the ceiling, unable to get any sleep. I decide to leave my room and get some fresh air, that always seems to help me when I can't sleep anyway. I get up from my bed, walking up to the door of the room that Zuko had given to me, opening the door to go into the long corridor.

I get to the deck of the ship smiling as the cool wind hits my face. I look around the deck, expecting no one to be out, but I see a familiar figure standing near the railing. I slowly walk toward him. "Can't sleep either?" I ask him as I come up beside him, staring out into the distance. "You can say that." he replies back softly. It's strange that only yesterday, he was demanding me to tell him where Aang was and now, we're standing here having a regular conversation.

We stand there for a few more moments in complete silence, before I decide to speak up. "I never got to thank you properly for what you did earlier." I say. In the corner of my eye, I see him turn his head towards me. "I think you thanked me well enough." he replies, turning back to look at the ocean in front of him, his cheeks tinted a slight pink.

I feel my cheeks heat up at that comment. "Well, yes... What I mean is, I want to thank you while I'm thinking straight." I say biting my lip. "I know that winning that Agni-Kai was only for your pride and ego, as well as your hunt for the Avatar, but you saved me when you could have just given me to Zhao anyway." I say still not looking at him. "So, thank you." I smile as I turn my head to him, to see him looking at me. Our eyes meet for a split second before he turns his head away from me again. "It's fine. Don't mention it." he replies which makes me smile at him before turning my head back to the sky again.

We stand there in complete silence for, I don't even know how long before I let out a large yawn. "Well, I think I'm going to get some sleep. Good night Zuko." I say as I turn away, heading back to my room.

As I walk toward the door that leads into the ship, I could've sworn that he had said good night in return, but it could have been just my imagination.

Another filler chapter... I wasn't going to add another chapter before I did where Zuko goes to Kyoshi Island but then I decided to add this one in any way since I didn't really add this into the last chapter... I really hope you enjoyed this chapter even if it's just a filler chapter, the next chapter will be longer I promise!!! See you all soon!!!
