"Follow me. Take my hand." He says.
I hold onto his hand. It's warm, and soft. It has veins and his fingers are quite long.
"We're here." He says as he leads me into a room.
"What's all this?"
"It's Mr. Miyagi's tea area." He says.
The room is pretty and made out of gorgeous wood with asian artifacts and banners on the walls.
"It's beautiful." I say in awe. I take in the sweet scents of lavender tea. Danny needs some calming tea, that's for sure.
"Here come sit." Danny gestures me to a seat next to his.
"I'm gonna make you tea. What kind do you prefer?" He asks.
"Jasmine." I respond. He comes back with a hot jasmine tea and a blueberry scone.
"Here you are." He says with a smile. My cheeks go to a shade of red due to his kind and caring actions.
I take a sip of the tea and instantly warm up. The tea is amazingly good. Sweet, but not overdone. It's smooth, and delightful.
"Is it good?" He asks hesitantly.
"It's amazing. What did you get?" I ask.
"Chamomile tea." He says. Thank gosh. Calm his ass down.
"Listen, I'm really really sorry for everything that's been going on." He says looking me in the eye.
"I accept your apology. Thank you." I say smiling.
"How's the scone?" He asks, with a worried expression. I bite down into it, and it's hard as a rock.
"It's a bit old." Daniel says, dying of laughter.
"Ya think?"
"You're a great person to be around." He says looking at the ground, then back into my eyes.
"You too." I say with a small smile.
We chat a bit more over tea.
"I'm now taking karate lessons from Mr. Miyagi." He says.
"Wow! That's great I'm so happy for you!" I say.
"Thank you. Honestly, I think you should join me in the Dojo with Mr. Miyagi." He says.
"I don't know.... Johnny would be my competition which would be hard." I say.
"Oh yeah, that's right!" He says.
"Think about it." He says.
"I will." I say.
"You're in a love triangle." He laughs.
"I kinda am not gonna lie." I say laughing along
"I've got to get going." I say.
"Oh yeah, we should get back." He agrees.
"Goodnight Danny." I say.
"Goodnight V." He says as he pulls me in for a warm hug.
God, what am I going to do.
