Magoa
- A heartbreaking feeling of hurt, visible in gestures and facial expressions

The Goblet of Fire had moved to the front of the teachers' table. Lynnea did not care much if she was being honest, two feasts in two days were a bit much for her anyway. The tournament at the moment did not excite her either, Cedric had entered so Lynnea was desperately hoping that he would not be picked. She would not have minded it at all if Angelina was to get picked as the Hogwarts champion, she might do well even.

"The Goblet is almost ready now," Dumbledore spoke as he stood up and the tables cleared, Roger looked grumpily around when his dessert suddenly disappeared but when he discovered what was happening he too focused on The Goblet like everyone else.

The rest of the students leaned forward in their seats, even the ones from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, all of them wanting a better look at The Goblet.

Dumbledore barely flicked his wand and all of the lights in The Great Hall went out except the fire in The Goblet and the candles inside of the pumpkin heads. The white-blue light shone even stronger now, it truly was radiating.

The fire started crackling a little more aggressively and the colour turned to red as a flame shot up far in the air like a fiery tongue and a slightly charred piece of parchment was thrown out. Gasps and mumbles immediately started all around The Great Hall while everyone's eyes were on the piece of parchment floating slowly downwards.

Dumbledore caught the piece of parchment from the air and held it out to read it in the light of the flames which once again turned into the white-blue colour.

"The Durmstrang Champion will be... Viktor Krum." No surprise in that Lynnea thought and from the whispers around her most of the other people seemed to agree.

Krum stood up and walked towards Dumbledore, everyone's eyes were on him as he left through the door that Dumbledore had pointed out.

Only a few seconds after Krum had left did the flames begin crackling again and a crimson red colour sprang forward. The second piece of parchment was thrown out and gradually floated through the air.

"The Beauxbatons Champion is... Fleur Delacour!" Oh brilliant, she did not get enough attention already but, of course, it was her. Madame Maxime cheered her on, as did some of the Hogwarts boys while Fleur left the room out of the same door Krum had.

The tension in the room was even greater now, the Hogwarts champion was next, people were on the very edge of their seats. The flames turned red for the last time and not a single breath was let out in the hall. The Goblet's flaming tongue shot up again and the last piece of charred parchment flew out. Dumbledore caught it carelessly.

"The Hogwarts Champion is... Cedric Diggory!" A couple of disappointed sighs came from all of the tables except the Hufflepuff one which had never been louder.

Lynnea was not sure how to react but stood up with the rest of the students to clap as Morgan helped Cedric stand. She did not want him to enter that was for sure but at the same time, this is what he wanted and she had to be happy on his behalf.

Lynnea knew how badly Cedric wanted to impress his father and this was one of the best opportunities for him. A sigh left her as Cedric beamed at her, his usual handsome grin on his face and her own frown was beginning to turn upside down.

Like Viktor Krum and Fleur Delacour had, Cedric walked into the backroom and this time the cheers took a lot longer to die down.

"Excellent, now that our three champions have been selected. I am sure that you will all give your representatives all the support you can muster. By cheering on the contestants-" Dumbledore trailed off and his gaze turned to The Goblet, his gaze turning into a glare as the flames became red once again.
