Chapter 23

Jess POV

I wake up in the morning and see Eva still asleep in the chair she was sitting in but Anna was awake and on he phone.

"Morning how are you feeling" She asks "okay but my leg still really hurts"

"Oh yeah before I forget I've been awake for hours so I went back to nach and I got you some clothes so you can change before we go back" Anna says and passes me some of my clothes "thanks boon"

I realise the hoodie Anna gave me is one of Eva's and I smile it smells so much of her.

"How has Eva been" I ask "okay but she's worried about you"

"I feel bad I'm now going to put her through this when if I'd of carried on taking my meds this might not have happened or if I just spoke to someone about how I was feeling" "You've got to remember that you can't help that this happened and we're all going to be here for you" she says and I smile slightly

Just then we hear Eva stir.

"Morning sleepyhead" I say "morning bub" she says yawning

"Did you sleep well" Eva asks "not really this beds like a rock" I say and we all laugh "yeah these chairs aren't the comfiest either" Anna says

Nurse Jones then walks in the room.

"So can I leave then" I ask eagerly "yes after I've cleaned and rewrapped you leg"

She takes the bandage off my leg and that's when I see what damage I'd done.

My eyes go wide but I see Eva and Anna tear up.

My leg was totally fucked it was really red but the cuts, well they were deep really deep.

"There going to take a while to heal aren't they" I ask "yes but you need to clean and rewrap it every morning and night" the nurse says

"Ahh fuck" I shout as the nurse puts an antiseptic solution where the cuts on my legs are

After this she rewraps my leg in a gauze bandage.

I then grab the clothes Anna gave me and go and get changed.

My leg stings as I put my sweatpants on.

I brush my teeth and then go back to the hospital room.

"Nice hoodie" Eva smiles "I know I don't know who's it is"

"Now Jess we are letting you go but please remember to take your meds and don't forget to go to therapy next week" "I won't ma'am and thank you for everything" I say

"Thank you so much" Eva says "It's our pleasure"

I slowly walk out the hospital and walk to Anna's car where I sit in the front.

"Thank god I'm out of there" I say as I sit back in my seat

"Before we go anywhere you need to take these" Eva says and passes me my meds "where did you get these" I ask "from your nightstand I brought them with me yesterday" she says

I know I need to take them but I don't want to.

"I don't have a drink though" I say "here" Anna says and passes me a bottle of water

I reluctantly take my meds.

"well done bub" Eva says and she leans through to the front and kisses me

"You guys want to go get Starbucks" Anna asks "sounds good" Eva says "sure" I say

Anna starts driving and we put the radio on when A Thousand Years comes on the radio.

I turn around and me and Eva smile at each other.

"What are you two smiling about" Anna asks "oh nothing" I say and Eva giggles

"God you two are weird"

We go to Starbucks and grab a drink before Anna drives back to nach.

"I'm excited to see them all I missed them" I say as we get out the car

"They've all missed you" Eva says

I hold Eva's hand and we walk up to the house.

"Ready" Anna says "yeah"

Anna opens the front door.

"WELCOME HOME" everyone shouts as we walk in and my face breaks out into a massive grin.

There were welcome home balloons and banners everywhere.

All of a sudden Katie squeals and runs and jumps into my arms.

"I missed you so much dipshit" "I missed you too but please get off me your leg is on my leg"

"Oh shit I'm sorry"

Everyone else run's over and hug me.

"I'm so glad your back" Dev says

"The house hasn't been the same" Cynthia

"I've missed you" Sab says

"We all have" Madi says

"How are you feeling" Karina asks

"My leg really hurts and I'm still tired but other than that I'm okay" I ask

"And mentally" Katie

Oh god now these guys are starting to sound like therapists.

"I've had better days but I'm going to get through this" I say

"That's the spirit" Zach says and hugs me

"We're all here for you Jess and if you ever need to talk you can talk to us" Christian says hugging me

"Thanks guys your the best"

"GROUP HUG" Cooper shouts at the top of his lungs

We all have a group hug.

"Now how do you fancy a movie night tonight" Cynthia asks

"If you don't feel like it just say and we'll blame coop as it was his idea" Sab says

"No I'd love to have a movie night" I beam

"Great oh my god we can watch all the Harry Potter's" Katie says doing her best British accent

"Never ever ever do that again" I groan and she laughs

"Wow someone doesn't like my British accent " "that's because it's shit" I say and everyone laughs

"I'll go get the snacks for the movie night" Madi says and goes to the kitchen

"I'll go get blankets" Katie says and runs off

I go and sit down with Eva and cuddle with her.

"You okay bub" she asks and kisses my forehead "yeah I'm okay" I say

Madi comes back with the snacks and Katie with the blankets and then we start Harry Potter.
