Chapter 43

Jess POV

I run downstairs with this stupid fucking note and ring.

I run into the kitchen and open the bin.

"Jess you can't bin it" Izzy says

"I fucking well can what the fuck did she think she was doing here" I shout

"Girls what is going on" my mum asks

"Oh mum you know you were here when she came round" I shout

"Don't shout at me Jessica" my mum says sternly

"Sorry" I say

"Now who came round" she asks

"Da-" I'm cut off by Izzy slapping my arm

I look up her and realise the others were now in the kitchen.

"Hey guys" I say and scratch the back of my neck

"Anyway dinner is ready guys" my mum says and passes everyone their food

"Thank you mum" I say and carry my food over to the dining table

"Thank you so much Ms. Thompson this lovely" Eva says as she finishes her mouthful

"Yeah it's amazing" Anna says

"Your welcome girls" my mum smiles

"Now Jess what were you saying who came round you never said" my mum asks

I look up at Izzy for help but she looks just as stuck on what to say.

"Izzy's boyfriend" I blurt out causing Anna to look really sad and Izzy kick me under the table

"You fucker" I say and kick her back

"Girls" my mum says and we stop

"Izzy why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend" my mum asks

"Be- because I've already broken up with him" she says and Anna's face lights up once more

"Oh"

"I don't really want to talk about" Izzy says and puts on a sad look

"That's okay sweetie"

I look up at Izzy and mouth a 'thank you' and she mouths back 'no problem'

"So have you girls lived in LA long" my mum asks Anna, Eva and Katie

"Like a few months before Jess moved to LA" Eva replies

"Although it definitely became more fun when Jess moved to LA" Katie says

"Yeah just not when we play Ouija boards" I laugh and so does Anna

"Oh shut up we are not bringing that up again" Katie laughs

We finish eating and then I help Izzy clean the dishes.

I then watch TV with everyone for a bit before me and Eva go up to bed.

"We were all shocked at how many shoes you have" Eva says as we get into bed

"Yeah I have loads that's only half of them though the other half are in LA already"

"Were you okay after earlier you seemed off and that ring we kind of saw it before you did" Eva says

"Um well I'm just going to be truthful" I say

"Um turns out Daisy came back and came over Izzy tried to stop her but she barged into the house and came into my room and put that note and ring in here, the ring was something she got me for my birthday a few years ago but when she left I gave it to her parents as they didn't leave and I didn't want it" I say
