Chapter 95

Jess POV

I get up in the morning and Eva still isn't in.

To say I'm worried is an understatement.

"You okay" Sab asks noticing I'm not really speaking

"I uh yeah I'm fine"

"You're worried about Evan aren't you" she says and I nod my head

"Me too this isn't like her"

"Why don't we both go out and look for her" Sab suggests

"Yeah that sounds a good idea"

I grab my car keys and Sab grabs hers.

"I'll see you in a bit" I smile and kiss Sab on the cheek

"Hopefully one of us finds her" Sab says and then leaves

I get in my car and drive around the places Eva could be.

I've been looking all day and I can't find her.

What has happened to her.

Then it clicks, there's one place I haven't been.

The Hollywood sign.

I drive there as fast as I can.

I arrive and see her car and her sat on it.

Thank fucks she's okay.

Eva POV

I've been gone nearly 24 hours and no ones found me yet.

I mean I left briefly this afternoon to get food but I came back.

Now I'm watching the sunset.

I feel someone climb onto the hood of my car and sit next to me.

"Pretty sunset isn't it" I hear Jess's voice say

"Yeah it is" I smile

"I was worried about you, you've been gone ages" she says

"I'm okay I just needed to get away for a bit"

She touches my arm and feels how cold I am.

"Eva you're so cold" she says and quickly takes her hoodie off and gives it to me

I put her hoodie on and instantly smile.

It's so warm and it smells so much of her, and it is my favourite hoodie of hers.

"I'm sorry Eva" she apologies

"Why are you apologising" I ask

"What I'm doing to you is not fair you have to see me and Sab everyday and I can't imagine that it feels great"

"You're happy with her though" I say and she looks down

"Aren't you" I ask

"Not in that way no, I love Sab dearly in a friend way and she's an amazing person but I can't get you out of my head" Jess says

"Neither can I" I admit

"But we can't be together can we" I say

"No" she mumbles

"I- I think we were meant to be but we did it wrong, on both parts really I went on tour with my ex which was probably one of the stupidest things I could've done and you well-"

"I cheated" I mumble and slowly look up at her

"Look Eva I just want you to know that I've never loved and cared for someone the way I do for you and that will never ever change" she sniffs
