Chapter 73

Jess POV

I run downstairs following Daisy.

We get into her car and she starts driving to my mum's house.

"Do you know what your mum wants" Daisy asks

"No clue"

My mum only lives ten minutes away from Daisy's parents house so luckily we weren't driving that long.

We arrive and Daisy parks in the driveway.

"You want me to come with you" she asks

"No I'll be okay but thanks for the offer" I smile

"Okay good luck"

"I'll need it" I say as I get out the car

I walk up to the front door and knock.

Around thirty seconds later the door opens revealing Izzy.

"Jess" she says and smiles

"I'm here for mum so is she in" I ask

"No"

"Well then where is she I was told that she wanted to see me tonight"

"She's gone to the supermarket" Izzy replies

"Look come in it's freezing out there"

"Okay thanks"

I go into the house and Izzy shuts the door.

"Anyway why are you here you and Eva broken up" Izzy asks

"What no"

"Really well it's the fact that your spending Christmas with your ex it's a bit sus" Izzy says

"Look we're on a fucking break okay"

"Oh so you basically are broken up, so did she break your heart"

"Why are you asking so many questions" I ask

"Because I'm looking out for you" she says and I roll my eyes

Just then I see my mum pull up into the driveway.

She gets out the car and walks in with a few shopping bags.

"Jess" she says and smiles

"Hey"

"So what did you-"

"Mum we were right Eva has broken Jess's heart" Izzy says cutting me off

"What the fuck Izzy no she hasn't if anything I'm going to break hers if I'm not careful" I shout and they both look at me in shock

"Jess I did not raise you to be a horrible person that cheats on people" my mum shouts at me

"No I haven't cheated I promise" I say

"Well then what are you doing"

"I don't know like I see Daisy and I have all these amazing memories and then I remember the bad memories, but then I don't know I get like these moments with her where everything around us doesn't matter and I- I just want to kiss her" I admit and once more they look at me in shock

"Does Daisy or Eva know this" Izzy asks

"No, no one does apart from you two, oh god why did I tell you two"

"Because you can trust us" my mum says

"I will believe that when I see it"

"Look Jess I know you don't want to but you need to tell Eva this" my mum says
