*Three days later

Jess POV

Opening up to Eva about my dad felt good it was good to get it off my chest.

Today was our last day in Canada so Eva's parents are taking us out for the day.

I walk back into Eva's room after my shower and she stands up and hugs me.

"You better be prepared for giving me piggybacks today" she says

"How come" I ask

"Mom's making us go on a hike and I absolutely hate walking" she groans which makes me laugh

"Well it's a good job then that I am here to give you piggybacks" I say and kiss her

We go downstairs and get into her parents car.

"Do we really have to go on a hike" Eva groans "yes it will be good to get out into the fresh air" her mom says

"Do you like going on hikes Jess" Eva's dad asks me "no she doesn't she-" Eva starts but I cut her off

"I love going on hikes there one of my favourite things to do" I say winding Eva up and she glares at me causing me to laugh

"Oh that's great we'll have to go on more when you come next" her mom says

"I'll only be bringing Jess in winter if that's the case we can go skiing rather than hiking" Eva says as she sits back in her seat

After about half an hour of driving we arrive at a place to hike.

"Now me and the girls are going to do the harder hiking trail but you two can do an easier one if you want" Eva's mom says

"Yeah we'll do an easier one" Eva says and grabs my hand and we start walking off

We find the easiest one and start hiking that one.

"Do you really like hiking" Eva asks "No it was just funny winding you up" I say and she shoves me lightly

I pretend to trip over a rock and land on the ground where Eva immediately panics.

"Oh my god bub I'm so sorry are you okay I'm so sorry" "no I think I've broken my ankle tripping over that rock" I say

"Fuck um I'll go call for help do you think you can stand up" she asks

"I'll try"

I stand up with ease and start walking off.

"Oh look at that my ankle's mended already" I laugh

"Oh your a shit" she says making me laugh more

"I'm sorry it was to good a opportunity not to take"

"For that you can give me a piggyback" she says and jumps on my back

I walk with her on my back up the hill when we get to the top I put her down and we look at the view.

"It's such a pretty view" she says as she admires it

"See why people enjoy hiking now" "yeah but why do they do the hard trails"

"Because you don't have to walk as far to get to the top"

"Yeah but it's so much more effort"

"Oh shush you barely had to walk this trail" I laugh "okay I'll give you that one"

We take some pictures with the view behind us and then make a Tiktok.

"We better get back your parents will start worrying" I say
