"Maybe that princess could save herself.
That sounds like a pretty good story too."
- Marissa Meyer, in the book "Fairest"

"Hey, Yeonjun!" I exclaim, twisting my arms around his neck. The boy caresses my neck in a swift kiss, interlocking his hands behind my back. "You're done with your royal duties?"

"Interesting way to put it- however, not yet," He responds, causing both of us to frown. He pats my hair, brushing it with his fingers. "I'll be done eventually. Stay safe and don't go playing around with my hyungs, alright? I don't want to beat Chanyeol hyung up again."

I nod, smiling softly as he giggles. "I love you."

"I love you too," I respond, waving goodbye as he lets go of my body and walks away. I hear a small huff behind me, my head spinning around to see oldest with crossed arms. "Oh, good morning Chanyeol. What are you up to?"

"How envious I am of you both... especially him," He scoffs, tightening his fists as he gazes away. "Being in love sickens me. Yet, you guys are so cute together... so I will let it go. Besides, I will get my love eventually. You both just seem to get it earlier and much luckier than I."

"'Being in love sickens me-' Oh hush, Chanyeol. You love love more than it may ever love itself!" I laugh, pointing at him slightly. "Don't worry about falling in love. Instead, work on your fighting skills. I think I've gotten better than you!" I run off, causing Chanyeol to point back at me with fire in his eyes.

"H-Hey! That isn't true! Get back here Min Youra!"

It's time.

I enter the bathroom slowly, smelling the sweet aroma of the lotus that has once filled the room. Okay... but think about it. A bathroom?

Of all places?! I must search a bathroom full of rich things and cleanliness? It makes me remember I'm broke. So, I do. I check every nook and cranny, in hopes I find something that will help me figure out the climax of this on-going story. Towels... lotus... I've checked there. It's just not findable!

Maybe there's depth to this simple word problem. Maybe there's some I can't see. So, I quickly flip to the page, rereading the passage.

"...Something is in the palace that she refrains from seeing. The warrior passes by it every day yet she can't remember... what is it? What's holding her back from the truth, from the gongju's truth, and the princes' truth?

Her discovery will be worthwhile... but will she find it in time? Behind the towels with the lotus that blooms in the fresh, aromatic sky... will she find the truth that uncovers the surprise."

Something I can't see. Behind the towels with lotus that blooms in the sky...

Behind the towels... Oh! Turning to the rack on the wall, I grin excitingly, hoping for the best (and possibly not the worst.)
