"Sweetie, did you get a love letter?" Mom asked kaya naman dali-dali kong tinupi ang listahan at itinago ito sa bulsa ko.
"To-do list lang po." I smiled and continued to eat my breakfast.
Last night Sawyer helped me write a list on how to banish the evil ghost in Argentina's house. Sumali rin si Haji sa paggawa ng listahan at si Reika naman ang nag-suggest ng final method. She says it's really effective lalo na kapag malaki ang tip.
They were drunk when they coached me to write this, but mukhang legit naman ang suggestions nila kaya I might as well try them for Argentina's sake.
"Good Morning!" Dad suddenly entered the kitchen, looking all bright and happy.
I quickly grabbed a sandwich and took a sip of my juice. "I gotta go. May dadaanan pa ako."
"But you haven't finished your food?" Mom asked.
"Are you on a diet?" Dad asked as he sat beside me.
Umiling ako at pilit na ngumiti. I walked towards my Mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Kuya's not feeling well po pala. Baka umabsent po siya ngayon."
"But it's the first week of class? He looked okay yesterday?" Dad asked.
I chose to shrug and wave them goodbye. Palabas na sana ako ng kusina nang bigla akong tinawag ni Daddy.
