I entered my room and collapsed to the bed. I've never felt so exhausted over a 20-minute car ride. My tears have dried up, but my heart is still as heavy as when I was with Sawyer.

I should have said this, I should have said that—normally, 'yan ang laman ng isip ko pagkatapos ng isang pagtatalo.

"Do I like Cyprus San Carlos?" I asked myself while mindlessly staring at the ceiling.

I've always admired how hardworking and polite he is. How his cold facial expression is a far cry from his warm words and actions. How he actively listens to my stories and superficial rants. How he tries so hard to suppress his laughter every time I do and say something stupid. And how he makes me smile in the most mundane ways.

All of a sudden, my phone rang. I picked it up, only to see Sawyer calling me. I swiped reject and went back to my thoughts.

The nigh time came and all I could think about was Cyprus. I tried to distract myself by watching a movie, but I suddenly remembered how he used to be our chaperone every time Argentina, Izzy, and I would go to the cinema. I then decided to paint my thoughts away, but I started to wonder if he's good at painting too. I tried working out while belting out Taylor Swift songs, but again, all I could think about was him and how he would always hand me bottled water and towels.

In my desperate attempt to boot him off my mind, I tried to go to sleep even if its way too early. However, for the love of all things holy, I just couldn't stop thinking about him!

"Kasalanan mo 'to! Eric Thomasson Sawyer!" I screamed, kicking aimlessly under my blanket.

After changing into my yellow tracksuit, I packed my bag and made sure to bring my outfit for school.

Just like any other day, I rode my bike on the way to the park.
