"yes." jayda nodded as a few wet tears fell down her cheeks. "yes. i am."

jonah pulled her into a tight hug and she buried her face in the crook of his neck. they rocked to the music of the waves. jayda's tears slowly dried as they sat in each other's arms, and eventually they pulled back.

the pads of jonah's thumbs gently touched her cheeks, wiping away the remaining tears. jayda sniffed wiping her nose while jonah memorized her face.

looking down, jayda pulled a small piece of paper out of her hoodie pocket, like the ones jonah had given her. a smile appeared on both of their faces, as he took it.

"on a scale of 1-10, you're a nine and i'm the one you need." was written on it in her neat handwriting. jonah's smile grew while he read it, causing jayda's to as well.

with a big smile, jonah leaned forward and cupped jayda's cheek. he kissed her slowly and passionately, their lips moving in sync. the kiss became heated as jayda began to straddle his lap, and he kissed her deeply.

before things went too far, they both pulled back, breathing heavily. jonah's lips turned upwards in a smile again, as did jayda's.

"we have to do that more often." jonah whispered. jayda nodded in reply. "i love you."

"i love you."

"jonahhhh!" daniel barged into the warehouse. his eyes widened as he saw the couple lying down, jayda on top of the curly haired brunette. jonah heard him and sat up quickly fixing his hair, that jayda had messed up. jayda was confused because, of course, she was deaf. after the girl finally stopped daniel across the room, a dark blush covered her face. "get a room."

"we had one, until you appeared." jonah rolled his eyes as daniel covered his. jayda giggled softly reading jonah's lips. just then, the rest of the why don't we boys, jack, corbyn, and zach, appeared.

"oh boy." corbyn's eyes widened as he turned around pulling zach with him. the two left, and jack followed them.

"have a nice nighttt!" daniel called as he copied his friends and exited the building. jonah and jayda giggled to themselves and faced the waterfront again, snuggling into each other.

jonah kissed her temple gently, pulling her close. the two slowly fell asleep, protected from the waves and wind. jayda's head rested on his chest, and she felt the vibrations of his heart beating. she loved that feeling.

she loved the feeling of being close to someone. the feeling of being wanted and loved. she loved jonah, one of the only people who had ever given her that.
