Sora POV

"No... I loved Seulgi."

...

"Dude, what the fuck." I retort, but he remains his poker-face. He harshly lets go of my jaw and swings it to the left. I wince in pain.

"You don't understand. She was my everything. I couldn't even focus in class because of her, goddamnit! I decided that on one Friday, I would confess my feelings. But then I saw her kissing someone. That someone was Taeyong. I felt extremely jealous. So I decided to get revenge." He angrily says, pouring all of his build-up sadness onto me.

"You were so down bad that you killed my mom?" I say. Although his story was indeed tragic - the girl he loved having her heart placed for someone else - I felt no remorse.

"He... Ruined everything. I could've been married to her living my best life if it wasn't for him." His cold breath goes down my neck as I release a shiver.

"Ok, but what does that got to do with me?"

Before he can reply, the door bursts open to reveal a tall man. Like, if he wasn't so buff, I would've thought he was a real-life slender man. Seriously, why do all of my dream men have to be killers?

"What do you want, Mingyu?" Taehyung shoots the man a killing glare.

Mingyu had sweat dripping off of his face. "They're... Here." He pants, out of his breath.

Taehyung rolls his eyes cockily. "Took them long enough. Get someone to bring her outside."

Mingyu rushes out the door as I'm left with Taehyung again. He's about to leave but turns around to make eye-contact with me.

"You... Get ready." He grins ear from ear before walking out and away from the door. Two men burst into the room with black weapons around their waist and their hands packed with knives.

They silently untie me and pull me up from each of my arms.

"Gentle, please. I only have two arms." I complain loudly as they drag me out of that weird basement I was in. You would complain too if you felt how hard these guys' grip is.

We walk through some hallways that looked rusty, dirty and old. Reminded me of my math teacher in high school. We're probably located in an abandoned building. I think.

We turn a corner to be met face to face with two foreign-looking guys. Before I can examine their god-like features properly, the foreign dudes knock out the guys who were dragging me with their pistols.

Once they make sure the guys were passed out. They look at me.

"Hi, I'm Lucas."

"Hi, I'm Ten." They both say while smiling intensely at me.

"Uh..." I slowly back up into the wall behind me. I don't know if these guys are safe. Remember Baekhyun and Yuna? Anyone can be fake.

"No! Don't worry. We're with NCT." Ten says, reassuring me. Wait, I remember him from that big meeting I walked in on a couple of weeks ago!

I hesitantly walk up and start running alongside them. Lucas hands me a gun and says. "Don't drop it."

"I don't think Taeyong told you this but I'm actually very bad at using a gun." I pant loudly since we were still running at full speed.

"How bad could you be?" Ten asks. We turn a sharp corner and start dashing down some steep stairs.

"Uh, let's just say I shoot with my eyes close," I say, slightly ashamed that I'm not as talented with guns as everyone else. Can you blame me, though? I've only been doing this for not that long.

"Ok, note to self; Don't stand near Sora anymore." Lucas jokes as Ten laughs. I always thought before that the mafia consisted of serious people that never made jokes. I guess I was proven wrong.

We're about to leave the staircase but the door slams open to reveal two guys, really young. One of them throws their knife at Lucas but he dodges it quickly. Ten suddenly grabs out his gun from his pocket and shoots both of them with no hesitation.

"Oh my god!" I scream as the two unknown guys drop dead on the stone floor.

"Calm down, you're about to see a lot worse," Lucas says, moving the dead bodies to the side as we leave the staircase.

In the distance, I can see three different guys running in our direction waving their hands at Lucas and Ten.

"Hey, you guys better be careful with her. She's the most sacred thing in this building." A guy with long, blonde hair says while pointing directly at me.

"Aw, that's sweet," I say, blushing but also kind of weirded-out.

"Yeah, well she's yours now. Bring her to Taeyong." Lucas pushes me forward to the three guys. One of them grabs my wrist and starts speed-walking through the hallway.

"You're... Sora, right?" One of them asks, not even looking in my direction.

"Yes, and you?"

"I'm Minho. The blondie is Hyunjin and the other one is Jisung." He says nonchalantly.

"Why am I always 'The other one?' I find it offensive, actually." Jisung fusses.

"Get some eurocentric features and maybe you'll get a new nickname." Hyunjin shushes Jisung up as we continue walking through the empty hallways. We all silently shuffle our feet, not daring to make any noise.

We turn a corner and start walking down. A tall figure starts walking down from the other side of the hallway. I hide behind Minho to make sure I don't get shot by whoever it is. The rest of them draw their guns and are about to shoot.

"Wait! That's Jaehyun." All of them put their guns down as my face lights up. Jaehyun stops walking once he sees me hiding behind Minho.

"Sora?" He says. I don't let him respond before running into his bulky arms. I expect him to complain, but he doesn't.

"What's this about? Yall dating or what?" Hyunjin asks, pointing at Jaehyun and me.

"Jaehyun, I'm sorry." I whimper out, completely ignoring the Goldie-Lock known as Hyunjin. "I think I scratched your car."

He giggles. "Guys, I think I got this. See ya later." He waves off Minho, Hyunjin and Jisung as I escape from his embrace.

"Ok so, how fast can you run?" He asks, putting his veiny hands on my shoulders.

"I did track in middle school, so very fast."
