Chapter 13

"Mummy!! can i get apple juice too please"

We're currently in line ordering our food, Fey holding my hand telling me what she would like. I got a few dirty glances by elderly ladies at the fact Fey is calling me her mother, maybe its because im so young or maybe its the fact that im wearing what every teenager wears nowadays who knows really no one ever knows what type of people you're gonna deal with everyday. My crop top showed off my tattoos but still hiding my large gang tattoo on my back and shoulders, so i had to take Fey to a McDonalds quite far from people would know me so nobody could see me. The real me.

Grabbing our food at the counter, Fey and I take a seat in a booth next to the window giving her the nuggies she wanted along with some french fries and her apple juice, receiving quite a happy 'thank you'. I on the other hand got myself a wrap along with some water, looking across the table from me Fey is stuffing her french fries like they are the last ones on the planet.

"honey, don't rush eating your food you'll get a tummy ache" i giggle at her, her only response was a smile which made me giggle even more.

In the time being we were eating it started to rain a little bit, I called the school letting them know I have a "doctors appointment" and that is why I would be late. After hanging up the phone call with the school I asked Chris to drive my pick up truck to meet us here so he can take Fey home and I can continue going to school. Turning to Fey i see her playing with the raindrops falling down the window, she was so adorable.

"hey kiddo did you want ice cream or anything?" knowing that Chris is still going to take a little bit of time, she nodded her head yes so i told her to stay where she is and ill go get her the ice cream.

I walk up to the counter and get her a large serve of vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle and m&ms all over, I got a caramel frappe because i was in a mood to be a little fat today.  It takes me a little while to actually receive the order so i admire the rain outside, so peaceful.

I hear my order getting called as i collect the dessert i walk back over to the booth handing my precious girl her ice cream, she smiled and climbed over the table to kiss my cheek as a thank you. Chris send me a message letting us know hell be here soon and to just wait for him outside since the rain is no longer there, we cleaned up our mess and put all the rubbish in the bins.

"Look mumma its a mustang" Fey points with her finger towards a blue mustang with white stripes, it looks like it was just bought it was so clean. I pick her up to walk the other direction of whoever is smoking a cigarette because i do not like Fey around that so much when shes this little, maybe in the future but not now.  I walked up to my car and opened the driver side door to let Fey sit down so she didn't have to sit on the wet floor, the sound of my old pick up truck filled our ears. As he parked the car next to us Chris stepped out and handed me the keys, and telling me that he's going to go get a drink before we all leave.

"hey baby girl Ive gotta go to school now, Ill see you as soon as i can i promise, I love you" i say sadness dripping throughout my voice, i hated leaving her i really did it made me feel like a terrible mother but i need to finish school to build a good future for us both.

"I know mumma, I love you too" she says hugging me before i sit her in the passenger seat, Chris soon joining her in the Rx7.

Chris told me not to kill anyone at school and to not blow my cover, I had to reassure him that i know that no one will find out about this, this being me living a double life.

"BYE MUMMY!!" Both Chris and Fey yell as they drive off back home, I grabbed my sweater putting it on before sitting down in the drivers seat before driving to the worst place on the fucking planet.
