Iwatched thecrowd come together, my nerves were starting to get the best of me. Heidi insisted that we have a december wedding outside, thank god it was snowing. My blonde hair was pinned up in a curly bun while some lose pieces famed my face beautifully. I glanced down at my wedding ring remembering how he purposed to me, a few weeks after he took my ring to get his name carved into it.
"Are you ready, Bunny." My dad says as he walks in with my mom wrapped around his arms.
My mom started to get very emotional, tears filled her eyes as she looked me up an down. My ivory sheath dress fit me well, the back part was shaped in a v and reached just above my butt. My makeup was lightly applied with a nude shade lip gloss to spice it up.
"You look beautiful." My mom cries while hitting my dad's chest. "Doesn't she?" My mom gave him a dangerous glare demanding for my dad to complement me.
"Of course. She looks just like you, sweetheart." My dad whispers while kissing my mom, I turned away looking for my lacey veil that was once my mother's.
I found it sitting on the chair behind me, my dad walked over to me.
"May I?" My dad asks.
I nodded ever so lightly, he softly pushed a piece of my hair behind my shoulder and placed the veil over my head. He draped it over my face and he then lightly kissed my cheek.
"Thank you, daddy." I whispered.
"Mommy." Nathaniel emerged inside the room dressed in his little tux, his hair was bravely slicked back just like his dad's.
"Don't you look handsome." I giggled, he wiggled his eyebrows at me.
I bent down to his level fixing his messy bow tie, his small brown eyes found mine.
"You look so pretty, mommy." He whispers while smiling showing off his little pearl white teeth.
"Thank you my baby." I kissed his cheek, my parents watched in awe.
My mom reached her hand out for Nathaniel's, they both made their way downstairs to the venue. Call it cold feet but I wasn't sure if I should do this, Carter and I have been so good I don't want to ruin what we have because marriage changes everything.
My dad felt my doubts, it was written all over my face. He reached inside his pocket pulling out an envelope, confusion was laced through my face.
"A year after Carter left, he sent me a letter to give to you but that disgusting Benjamin told me not too, that it would ruin your happiness." My dad hands it to me, I softly grabbed it with my fingers.
"After you read this if you still have your doubts than I'll handle the rest but if you're ready than I'll walk down that aisle with you."
He gives me a comforting nod before leaving the room, I watched the door close. I inhaled deeply before carefully opening the letter.
