Chapter 17

ONE MONTH LATER

"Where is Gulf?? He is supposed to dress me up and not you!!!" Mew shouted at the maid that came to dress him up for the day

"I am so sorry your Majesty but it was reported that he was not feeling too well because of his pregnancy and asked to be replaced till he feels better" said the maid with her head bowed down

"Get out of my room before I descend my anger on you right now!!" growled Mew, he was very angry that Gulf wasn't present

'What gave you the right and audacity to think that you can have a free day in this palace, I do not care about your pregnancy..just wait for me you nonentity!!' thought Mew as he quickly took his bath and dressed up before heading towards Gulf's room.

Gulf is nine months pregnant now,his pregnancy has been weighing him down this days including the fact that he doesn't get much time to rest as Mew always makes sure that he is occupied one way or the other.

Standing up has been getting very difficult for him day by day, his legs were swollen and couldn't massage himself, unluckily for him..when he asked for help from a servant to massage his legs, Mew caught the servant and fired her to serve as a warning to other servants, from that day nobody could help Gulf as they also didn't want to get fired.

Gabby always managed to massage his mother's legs but he was punished when Mew found out though it didn't stop him from sneaking into his mother's room to help him once in a while for massaging his legs and helping in some things.

But this morning, it was worst. His legs were swollen, he couldn't move much and his stomach was paining him that was why he asked for someone else to attend to Mew till he feels better.

He was still laying on his bed when he heard someone knocking furiously on the door which made him jolt up from the bed.

"Open the damn door Gulf because if I break it myself you wouldn't like my actions at all!!" Mew shouted angrily

Gulf's pains were forgotten immediately and he quickly went to open the door when he found out that it was Mew who was knocking, he was very scared and hoping that he has done nothing wrong

Immediately Mew entered the room,he dragged Gulf harshly by his arms towards himself

"Arrh your Majesty, please you're hurting me" Gulf hissed at the pain but Mew didn't care

"What gave you the right to think you can do anything you want in the palace huhh??...you think you can just neglect your duties??" Mew asked angrily as he tightened his hold on Gulf's arms making Gulf whimper in pain

"Arrh I'm sorry I couldn't come today, my legs are really paining me and my stomach hurts a lot but I made sure to get a replacement for you this morning" Gulf explained as he tried to endure the pains he was receiving

"Your legs and your stomach everytime!!..it's all about your pregnancy right!!??..fine I will help you with that" Mew then pushed Gulf very harshly on the floor which made Gulf scream out loud in pain, his stomach and waist were hurting like hell

"Arrh Mew M-Mew my stomach!..it hurts!! arrh it hurts please help me, I'm sorry arrhhhh!!!" Gulf cried out, his stomach was paining him like mad now

"It should pain you more!! that baby in you deserves to die, I don't even know why I let you carry the baby all these while, something must have been wrong with me but I'm done with that now" Mew said and he kicked Gulf's stomach heavily with his legs which made Gulf scream out his lungs in pain which alerted some servants that were near his room.

The servants entered to know what made Gulf scream but immediately ran out when they saw Mew inside looking very furious

"My baby please M-Mew save my b-baby,arrh!!" Gulf shouted in pain as he was loosing consciousness

"You deserve more, I pray that baby dies and you too, you're so disgusting" with one last kick Mew then left.

Immediately the servants saw that Mew had left, they immediately entered the room to see blood rolling down between Gulf's legs staining his white sash

"My baby, please s-save my baby,Gabby help me...." Gulf whispered as his sight got blurry, he then lost consciousness

The servants immediately carried Gulf to Mr Sing, the Royal doctor. They were not supposed to carry Gulf there as he was no more a royal but there was no time for them to take him to the Village doctor.

There was commotion in the palace because Gulf was about to give birth.

Gabby just finished his breakfast and was heading towards his study room to learn for the day but as he was crossing he noticed that many servants divided themselves into groups and were whispering things to each other,he was curious and wanted to find out what it was about until he heard...

"I think King Mew kicked him in the stomach which made him have early labour, he has been carried to the Royal Doctor. I really pity Queen Gulf..." Gabby didn't wait for the maid to finish what she was saying, he started running towards the Royal doctor's clinic, he was scared..his mother was having early labour

"God please save my mother and sibling" he prayed as he was running

After a while, he reached there but was not allowed to enter the place where his mother was being operated on, he was showed where to wait.

The anger and hatred that Gabby had towards his father grew tremendously

'Just pray father that nothing happens to my mother and sibling, if not I will never ever forgive you in all my lives...I hate you' Gabby thought to himself as tears gathered in his eyes.

After many hours, Mr Sing was done with the operation, Gabby on seeing him ran towards him

"Mr Sing, how is my mother and sibling?" Gabby asked with fear in his heart

"My Prince, your mother gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, she is being cleaned up right now and do not worry because she is perfectly healthy though it was an early labour,your mother really did well" Mr Sing said while smiling which made Gabby break into a wide smile too

"Thanks a lot Mr Sing, I'm now a big brother yay!!! I can't wait to tell Leo!!! wait!...what about my mother, I want to see him now, is he okay??" Gabby asked which completely wiped off the smile that was on Mr Sing's face

"My Prince, y-your mother is..." before Mr Sing could continue, Gabby saw a lifeless body which was totally covered in white carried by some men out of a room

"N-no..don't tell me that my mother is dead, he can't be...no no..nooooooo!!!!!'" Gabby screamed like a mad child and suddenly fainted

"My Prince!!!!!" Mr Sing immediately caught him before he landed on the hard floor.
